"Wuss" a person afraid to act or not up to the task because of fear.

When he agreed to appear at Center for Americans Progress (CAP), Netanyahu certainly knew that he would be facing an audience that would be hostile to some degree and he would be forced to confront some pointed questions. And it sounds like he did this in a way that was respectful, even conciliatory.
But instead of viewing this as an opportunity to influence Netanyahu, or even expose how his leadership and policies are inferior, CAP employees were worried about how engaging in mere dialogue with someone they find disagreeable has placed them "in a place of confusion and hurt."

Oh by the way the major contributor to CAP multibillionaire hedge fund manager George Soros through two of his nonprofit groups, the Foundation to Support Open Society and the Open Society Institute. From 2005 through 2010, the two organizations gave CAP over $5.4 million. CAP receives money from other liberal-leaning foundations, including the Tides Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the foundation of Progressive Insurance chairman Peter B. Lewis.

Is it no wonder we have a generation of people growing up AFRAID of opinions!

A generation of Wusses!!!
The "incidences" that spurred the resignation of a Missouri University President...

In light of the unrest in Ferguson, members of the student groups lamented the university’s lack of official response to racial tensions on campus.

A swastika and the word “heil” were drawn in what appeared to be charcoal on the wall of a residence hall stairway in April.

Payton Head said he was walking with a friend when a pickup truck slowed down and a group of young people inside screamed a racial epithet at him.
The Missouri Students Association president, who is black, shared the story in a social media post that went viral and prompted a response from Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin.

Head said at the time that he had been previously called a racial slur on campus, as well.

Black students’ play rehearsal interrupted by racial slurs: Oct. 5
Members of the Legion of Black Collegians were rehearsing on campus for a homecoming court performance when an “inebriated white man” walking by interrupted and called the students the n-word, the group publicly announced.

“There was a silence that fell over us all, almost in disbelief that this racial slur in particular was used in our vicinity,” the group wrote.

And so these "Wusses"... took to the streets and wow!!!!

Homecoming protesters block Wolfe’s car: Oct. 10
Police removed Concerned Student 1950 protesters who blocked the president’s car during the campus homecoming parade. Wolfe did not leave his car to speak with the students.

“We disrupted the parade specifically in front of Tim Wolfe because we need him to get our message,” graduate student Jonathan Butler, one of the protesters, told the Missourian. “We’ve sent emails, we’ve sent tweets, we’ve messaged, but we’ve gotten no response back from the upper officials at Mizzou to really make change on this campus. And so we directed it to him personally.”
The incidents that led to the University of Missouri president’s resignation

And this is what our institutions of higher learning have become... Universities of WUSSES!!!

And so NOW the "WUSSIFICATION" OF THE NEWS MEDIA!!!

There’s a good reason protesters at the University of Missouri didn’t want the media around
Students wanted to create a safe space from not only the racism they encounter on campus, but the insensitivity they encounter in the news media.
To be clear, my objective is not to impugn Tai’s character or journalistic integrity. I agree that Tai was doing his job and his past outstanding work speaks for itself. But in this conversation over “public space,” we’ve overlooked the protesters’ message — that conditions on campus make it an unbearable environment for black students to live and learn. Their approach to creating a safe space probably could have been better thought out, but the media should feel a responsibility to understand their motivations and respect their pain.
There’s a good reason protesters at the University of Missouri didn’t want the media around

RESPECT THEIR PAIN!!!

OH my the horror! The "PAIN"....
Maybe these WUSSES should see how people have suffered REAL PAIN!

GIGANTIC WUSSES!!!
OH the PAIN!!!

Reading the article for the 12year old is adult? thread about earlier puberty, I don't think they're wusses so much as clinically insane.

If kids hit puberty on average now of 11 and change, say 12 for bookkeeping, but aren't allowed to have sex until say 16, then for 4 years they're sexually charged and desirious but forced to conceal whatever sexuality they have. Ask Catholics how well suppressing your sexuality works. I think then all the self-harm we see, the violence and aggression is the result of that sexual repression and suppression.

The children aren't all right, they're sexually frustrated and being driven insane.

"The younger generation have become Wusses!"

This fails as a composition fallacy.

One of your fellow rightists tried – and failed – to advance this ridiculous premise.

Prove to me with a link that the above link I provided did not happen. It did. They by definition are wusses...a person afraid to act or not up to the task because of fear.
They didn't want to be present out of "FEAR" of being "in a place of confusion and hurt."
That is the definition of WUSS. They would have been confused and hurt with their phony suppositions JUST by listening to Netanyahu?

To me Netanyahu falls into the category of, "Fool me once. shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

He was one of the leaders of the Iraq WMD parade, a mistake that has proven costly. I'd tell him to go to hell as well.

Is it no wonder we have a generation of people growing up AFRAID of opinions!

If you and people like you spent more of their time in school actually learning their subjects instead of 'forming their opinions,' you would know that your subject should read either as:

The younger generation HAS become.... OR

The younger generationS have become...

Instead of arguing with your teachers perhaps you should have paid more attention to your lessons.

Is it no wonder we have a generation of people growing up AFRAID of opinions!

Notice it's only liberals who are whining about needing protection from opinions! Hearing something they don't like or disagree with is considered some kind of assault on their fragile little minds.

The liberals are starting to "wussify" kids early in school in hopes that they will be fearful throughout their lives and in need of government protection. College students demanding safe zones are a product of instilling fear in students from kindergarten on. And now we see so many adults who have that same mentality that you normally see in little children.

Even though we supposedly have freedom of speech, it's being treated like a crime now. At the U of Missouri, students are encouraged to report unfriendly language to police. Though they admit it's not a crime, the university is set to take disciplinary action. It's the official PC Police in action. Wouldn't want to freak anyone out by voicing an opposing view. And what they call hate speech these days is anything that might possibly offend someone. And since they are teaching students to be offended by virtually everything, it's a matter of time before freedom of speech is gone and were stuck with a limited list of things that are okay to say.

"As tensions at the University of Missouri continue to rage, the college’s police department has sent a new email to students advising them to call the police if they witness any incidents of "hurtful speech."

The email arrived in the inboxes of Missouri students Tuesday morning, and copies of it were quickly posted on Twitter."

America's future ...right there...

"delicate, immature wusses who become traumatized, get the vapors and seek professional counseling any time they face adversity or — God forbid — somebody looks at them the wrong way."

Jonah Goldberg wrote an interesting article on this subject this week:

Campus Commotions Show We're Raising Fragile Kids

"Free play -- tag in the schoolyard, pickup basketball at the park, etc. -- is a very complicated thing. It requires young people to negotiate rules among themselves, without the benefit of some third-party authority figure. These skills are hugely important in life. When parents or teachers short-circuit that process by constantly intervening to stop bullying or just to make sure that everyone plays nice, Horwitz argues, "we are taking away a key piece of what makes it possible for free people to be peaceful, cooperative people by devising bottom-up solutions to a variety of conflicts."

The rise in "helicopter parenting" and the epidemic of "everyone gets a trophy" education are another facet of the same problem. We're raising millions of kids to be smart and kind, but also fragile.

And what happens when large numbers of these delicate little flowers are set free to navigate their way through life? They feel unsafe and demand "safe spaces." They feel threatened by uncomfortable ideas and demand "trigger warnings." They might even want written rules or contracts to help them negotiate sexual relations."

We're raising generations of precious little special snowflakes without the balls to deal with the fact that life frequently sucks.

All 18 year olds must complete USMC basic training, they don't have to serve 4 years just complete basic. That will square most of them away. Hell yeah millions of USMC basic training graduates our country would be fierce!!

Then you better include ALL these people BEFORE GWB and the Liberation of IRAQ!
ALL DEMOCRATS!@!!!!

Reasons for War: Things you might have forgotten about Iraq.

"Together we must also confront the new hazards of chemical and biological weapons, and the outlaw states, terrorists and organized criminals seeking to acquire them. Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation's wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."
President Clinton, Jan. 27, 1998.

"It is essential that a dictator like Saddam not be allowed to evade international strictures and wield frightening weapons of mass destruction. As long as UNSCOM is prevented from carrying out its mission, the effort to monitor Iraqi compliance with Resolution 687 becomes a dangerous shell game. Neither the United States nor the global community can afford to allow Saddam Hussein to continue on this path."
Sen. Tom Daschle (D, SD), Feb. 12, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
Madeleine Albright, Feb. 18, 1998.

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb. 18, 1998.

"We urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998.

"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998.

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
Madeleine Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999.

"This December will mark three years since United Nations inspectors last visited Iraq. There is no doubt that since that time, Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to refine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies."
Letter to President Bush, Signed by Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL) and others, Dec, 5, 2001.

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them."
Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002.

"We know that he has stored away secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
.

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002.

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002.

"My position is very clear: The time has come for decisive action to eliminate the threat posed by Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. I'm a co-sponsor of the bipartisan resolution that's presently under consideration in the Senate. Saddam Hussein's regime is a grave threat to America and our allies..."
John Edwards (D, NC), Oct. 7, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years .... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002.

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do."
Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members.... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct. 10, 2002.

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime .... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction .... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real ...."
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003.
