Them Dems at it again.

Well,

A). The democrats are always confident. They were confident Hillary would win.

B). The democrats are real works of art that confuse blocking anything and everything the opposing party strives for as "patriotism." They never look at the real good or harm for the country, they just don't want the other side scoring points, yet they might do the very same things and if they were doing them, they were call them great efforts.

Now the democrats (Schumer) is calling Trump's desire to revamp our air traffic technology from using paper to electronic as other nations and privatizing it in order to streamline ATC and make it efficient, as a huge gamble on safety.

We can all see how well federalizing air traffic safety with the TSA has worked out:

TSA arrests 83-year-old woman

The democrats are a macrocosm of how many idiots here argue every banal point. Here you could be arguing for the health benefits of eating apples and someone here would argue that waste from throwing apple cores in the trash contributes to landfills harming the environment.

If nothing gets accomplished during this term we can all blame it on the Democrats

Democrats confident they can block Trump’s agenda after spending-bill win
The Democrats stand for blocking everything the GOP and Trump want to do, even at the expense of every American and the country.

The Republicans can not / will not lead, leaving those who voted them into office at the mercy of the Democrats as if they, the GOP, had never been given control of the House, the Senate, and the WH.

The COUNTRY is screwed by both parties.

One, it is politics, and the Dems are better with a minority than the Pubs with a majority.

Two, legislation is being passed, and, no, the alt right ain't in charge of nuffin.

Democrats think they have set the stage to block President Trump’s legislative priorities for years to come by winning major concessions in a spending bill to keep the government open.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) secured nearly $5 billion in new domestic spending by exploiting disagreements between Trump and GOP lawmakers over spending priorities.

Democrats’ lopsided victory on the five-month deal, which is likely to be approved this week, means it will be very difficult — if not impossible — for the GOP to exert its will in future budget negotiations, including when it comes to Trump’s 2018 budget blueprint.

Why have a government that will do nothing? That's what they're called these days "The do nothing free loaders".

Very true. Too many pols are doing what's politically best for their careers and their party, and the country's best interest is coming in at a distant 3rd place. In the GOP's case it's as if they're thinking the last election was a lifetime appointment, which of course it isn't. If they don't get their shit together and damn quick many of them are going to be out of a job in about 17 months. And frankly, deservedly so.

There is a reason all of Congress has a putrid approval rating.

Froggy, they are passing legislation, which is not doing nothing. You simply don't agree with it.

The majority of Americans will be far more in agreement with this than the far and alt right.

Actually the country hates the federal government, they have like a single digit approval rating…

The economy is improving with every regulation cut Trump has made. You must not get out much. The small business community is thriving. Shop space is getting hard to find. I don't think even you can give the Kenyan credit for that. Way to go Trump I'm booked solid for the rest of the year... shelves are turning over daily.

Rustic and Rambunctious, nobody cares what the far right is thinking.

This proposed budget shows the truth of that.

You are going to have to live with it and get ready for the primaries next year if you are unhappy.
