The United states has over 315 million people and many area's are already overcrowded. California has 38 million people. Do we have to get like China before we start talking about population control? By the way, 90% of population growth in California and 70% of population growth in the nation during the 1990's was from immigration and their offspring and the argument that there is plenty of open space like in Montana is bogus.

but they are for the most part all crammed into the major city areas. I know there are millions of people out there that really love the fast life and constant entertainment of a city, but I personally can not exist that way.

That could honestly be pictures taken of the Washington beltway any day of the week. The area coming through Montgomery county looks like that even on the weekends.

As most of our people are here. The difference between china and the US isn't the population density of the cities. Its the number of them. They have more. About 4 times as many.
