Because he does have a point. Norway is a largely homogeneous society with one language, one culture, etc. The same with Finland, Denmark, etc. The same used to be said of Sweden, but once they opened their doors to the third world they are now having issues.

I have already pointed out THREE times in this thread that Norway is NOT Socialist and has a Right-Wing Government, but you know Americans know it all 99% of the people in this thread have NEVER even lived in Norway yet they know EVERYTHING about Norway being the ignorant Americans they are, whereas me who is married to a Norwegian and for the first year we were married we lived in Norway and Mr. Lucy's brother works IN the Norwegian Government as Private Secretary to a Government Minister well I and others with experience of Norway WTF do we know when faced with a group of ignorant Americans most of whom probably do not even have a passport and have never been outside of America.

I spent six months in Texas and I can tell you on the TV news I NEVER saw hardly ANYTHING of news outside America and when they did it was usually about Mexico, Canada or China.

It's just been a long-held fallacy among liberals here, that countries like Norway are "beautiful socialist paradises." where everything is free, unicorns roam the countryside, the hills are big rock candy mountains, and pink lemonade flows up from the ground like water. They've believed the same about Cuba, North Vietnam, Russia, China, Venezuela, etc., throughout different times in our history.

The Founding Document gave/gives significant autonomy to the Ststes and less power to the Federal Government. Mister Lincoln and his supporrters felt they could snd should use the Federal Government to overrule the positions of Southern States.
