In the century the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, the Catholic church was still executing people for heresy and blasphemy, in the name of God Almighty.
What happened to that Christianity? Did God change his mind? Did God admit he'd been wrong? Can God be wrong and then 'evolve'?
