This Seems Wrong. Is It Wrong?

Why would the president’s team be trying so hard to get dirt on career diplomats who were doing their job? It seems wrong.

Revealed: Trump team hired spy firm for ‘dirty ops’ on Iran arms deal
“I was not aware, though sadly am not surprised. I would say that digging up dirt on someone for carrying out their professional responsibilities in their positions as White House officials is a chillingly authoritarian thing to do.”

Of course it’s wrong.

What's wrong in digging up dirt on national enemies?

It's been long obvious that Obama favored the Islamists, and gave the Iranians precisely what they wanted.

That is silly. The deal favored us, Europe and them. It put their nuclear ambitions on hold and it opened the door to inspections.
Not no more, it don't. Enjoy the Iran deal while it lasts, for it will soon be history.
And that is a good thing? Ending inspections?
It was a play from the start. Put your thinking cap on. Planeloads of cash in the middle of the night, without congressional approval. Iran hasn't given up a thing.

It's history.

No, strangling them economically is a good thing, with the understanding that should sanctions not arrive at an acceptable condition, other methods will be employed.

Don't ask. Tell.

Sanctions work up to a point - to get them to the negotiating table. Beyond that?

How long have we had sanctions on NK?

They have nukes now.

Iran doesn't.

Think.
Billy Boy gave them $4 billion. That's what you call sanctions.

Yet you LOVE finding a faux scandal to bring down a Constitutionally elected president

Obvious to whom? Liars like Donald Trump? Idiots who vote for Donald Trump?

You believe a lying idiot who tells you what you want to hear. There’s no truth to anything he says.

Congress wasn’t involved because it was returning the Iranians own money to them.

It is obvious to everyone that the Obama administration, in its coordinated efforts with S. A. to counter the Shia expansion (Iran), supported Islamists in their efforts to topple the secular government of Bashar al Assad.

What isn't so obvious is how you anyone can make the claim that the Obama administration gave the Iranians precisely what they wanted when what the Iranians gave up is the deterrent to Western armed aggression. What the Iranians got, roughly 100 billion of their own money, is a small consolation in exchange for the national security of its people.

Another item on the Iranians want list is greater access to the dollar. This was a part of the deal that has remained largely unfulfilled.

Thinking. We are not nearly ruthless enough.

How did that brilliant strategy work in Iraq...oh ya, it gave us ISIS and a host of destabilized states.

Negotiating agreements is a combination of asking and telling.

Starting wars is telling.

We have enough wars going on.

ISIS ramped up after Obama pulled out of Iraq.

So we had to go back. Thanks, Obama.
