Shield shows aftermath of officer-involved shooting

Tampa police were called to a home over a domestic disturbance when a thug came out shooting at them. They carried a scary totally unnecessary militarized riot shield. And it stopped the thugs bullets. They then exterminated the animal.

25 years ago one or more of these cops would have walked up like Andy Griffith....and been killed. In 2016 no one is hurt.

True. But what is "military"? It's human conflict. Whether it's 1,000,000 man armies marching in open war.....or 2 men trying to bring in 1 dangerous threat to society....tools of human conflict are all the same.
