Tillerson out?

ABC radio is reporting the same

The talking heads are making my head hurt. The only one that put it out there was Andrea Mitchell so far. I had already thought the same thing before she said it. Isn't it amazing that Tillerson, is the only one in the cabinet that called out Russia for the terrorist attack in Britain was Tillerson, after Sarah Huckleberry didn't at the press briefing yesterday. And we all know the press secretary speaks for the President right?

Hey look. The traitor in chief is on the way to AF1 to fly to California to look at protypes of his border wall that isn't going to get built. Complete with photo ops with the troops. Nice deflection at the last minute Donny. What are the odds he tries to make the news about sanctuary cities, and dumps all over the Oakland mayor? The press should give him no break, and only ask questions about his failure to speak out against Putin, and when he plans on 'fessing up about Stormy. That's all he should be asked from now on by the press everywhere he goes.

This son of a bitch needs to be put up against a wall and shot. We really do have a Manchurian candidate as a President. I'll sit back now and watch how the usual suspects flood the thread with their undying love for a traitor against their own country.
I hate the way this is all purposely directed in the way a soap opera or reality show would be choreographed and directed.....

President Chaos
Keeps us all tuned in....with heads still spinning from the last scandal or last firing or last resigning or last tweet or last press conference or last person poisoned by Russia or last agreement to meet some whacko leader or last porn star payoff......

I don't know how much more of this administration I can take.....

I've always hated Reality Shows..... :(

Too much coffee?

Just curious. When this guy does finally go down, and that is going to happen, do you traitors have an excuse you already have pre made, or will you act shocked and surprised?
Now I'm a traitor?

Do you have any idea how utterly retarded you sound?

just to enlighten the "the peemeister's" minions, this is not a Exxon and it is not a business.
But then what can we expect from the FELLATIO FEST CROWD like you.

How Tillerson's firing proves that total loyalty is all that matters to Donald Trump
If you don't get down on your knees and open up... you are fired.
The fellatio feast that he demands from people is sickening.
Yet his little minions love doing the above.

    • Tillerson refused to back up Trump's both-siderism in the wake of the racially motivated attacks in Charlottesville, Virginia. "The President speaks for himself," was all Tillerson could offer.
    • Following a report last fall that he had referred to Trump as a "moron," Tillerson refused to issue any sort of denial."I'm not going to deal with petty stuff like that," he said.
    • Following the nerve gas attack against a former Russian spy in the United Kingdom last week, the White House has pointedly refused to lay the blame at Russia's feet despite British Prime Minister Theresa May doing exactly that on Monday. Tillerson broke with the administration and made clear he believed Russia was behind the attack.
    • Even as Tillerson was pursuing diplomatic solutions to the North Korea nuclear crisis, Trump tweeted that Tillerson was wasting his time. "I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man," Trump tweeted last October.

a clear conflict of egos, and there is only one boss. When Tillerson was CEO of Exxon Mobil no one dared question his decisions, he apparently was unable to deal with being subordinate to anyone. Good riddance.

government IS a business. the largest one in the country.

Not hardly. Business is to make a profit to enrich the few who own it. There's nothing immoral in it, but it's not the role of government. It has nothing to do with the thread though.

Let's hope trump doesn't run the country like a business since he bankrupted four of them.

We used to hope Trump would grow into his new job. He has not, in fact he has become a liability and made America into a banana republic.

Many Americans (including me) have been puzzled by all the changes in the President's appointments.

I think, however, President Trump is perhaps introducing the European system of politics. That is, officials there constantly come and go.

We are used to cabinet secretaries, for example, serving for a president's whole term.

But why should they?

I have just heard President Trump on the radio thank the Secretary of State. Then he said that he felt that the new Secretary agrees more closely with the President's ideas.

It seems logical that the President should work with people with whom he feels comfortable.

Stability for the sake of stability is not a virtue -- IMHO.

High turnover rate in any business is a sign of failure. When the White House has a higher turn over rate in one year, than a local McDonalds, that's failure on an unprecedented scale.

But that's beside the point. This is an illegitimate President, and now a proven traitor to his country. It's not his impeachment that be discussed, but his execution date.

The problem is Republicans control Congress and are complicit in his crimes. Crimes that don't have a statute of limitations they will escape.

There are only 8 more months until the mid term elections. If Democrats win back control of the House, then they control the government check book and credit cards, and the Trump Presidency is effectively shut down.

It also means they control the House committees responsible for government oversight. Get ready for a truck load of subpoenas to be issued to members of Trumps cabinet, and that includes Ivanka and Jared, to be spending many hours in front of those committees, and then next Republicans who will be hauled in front of the ethics committee, of which there will be censures and expulsions, and quite possibly prosecutions.

2019 is not going to be an enjoyable time for the traitor in chief, his family, or Republicans in general. You might want to stock up on tissues.

The circus continues

Who is next out of the clown car?
"He Left without His Jacket "

T-Rex Tillerson says "Get it on, bang a gong, get it on"

Trump’s Personal Assistant Is Fired
“President Trump’s personal assistant, John McEntee, was escorted out of the White House on Monday… The cause of the firing was an unspecified security issue,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“Mr. McEntee was removed from the White House grounds on Monday afternoon without being allowed to collect his belongings… He left without his jacket.”
That's what they do in corporate America. The security guard comes to your desk and you are escorted fro the premises. Your personal belongings will be given to you in a couple of days. Trump is running the White House like a business. Just what we asked for: somebody to turn over tables and clean house.
Clean house? Trump chose Tillerson. Tillerson was an outsider like him. But Tillerson has the sense God gave a goose, and Trump isn't having any of that. So much for the Republicans' theory that they could "handle" Trump by surrounding him with reasonable advisers.
I'm not bad mouthing Pompeo; I don't know anything about him. It's just that people who know seem to widely regard Tillerson as someone who brought a certain stability and clarity to foreign relations.

Once the Russian collusion and sabotage was revealed to the public, Tillerson really had no role in the White House. He was there to deliver the goods to Russia as payment, but the goons couldn’t cover their tracks and their plot was foiled.

Tillerson turned out to be different from what most (inc. me) suspected him to be.

Having led Exxon and working closely with Russian government it would seem that he would come into office with warmer feelings towards Kremlin then your average American and more inclined to work to reverse the sanctions that killed a multi-billion dollar Exxon-Russia oil project. He even penned an article opposing sanctions in 2014. It's probably what got him the Trump's nomination over others.

In Russian media his nomination to head Department of State was treated as Trump's brazen deep-state defying, pro-Russia move. Remember, Rex took what was at one time Clinton's job - so to Russians that had a lot of symbolic meaning.

BUT Tillerson turned out to be exactly the guy who showed up in the confirmation hearings - competent, qualified and VERY strong on Russia...pretty sure that was disappointing to Putin and Trump, who Tillerson described as a "fucking moron" over ideas about expanding nuclear weapons arsenal.

Yes....Tillerson said No to trump and that is what doomed him. Either you bow to the Orange Clown or you are out.

There is no doubt why Tillerson was fired. Comrade Trump again. Tillerson spoke out forcefully against Putin's assassination in the UK. Contrast that with bitch Sanders' statement that was wishy washier than Charlie Brown. Ronald Reagan defeated the Soviet Union by confronting and holding them accountable. Reagan would have said what Tillerson said. Obama was tougher on Russia than Trump and that is not what saying much. This is further proof as to why Russia wanted Trump and not Clinton.

The House investigation of Trump Russia collusion proves that the GOP is complicit in Treason. Yes...this is a illegitimate president. We are saddled with Putin's Choice.

just responding to your stupid claim that Trump was "still" campaigning.

Trump had a rally in Feb of 2017 that was paid for by his re-election campaign fund.

He has never quit campaigning

so what? obozo campaigned for 8 years and did zero as president. What, exactly is your point?

Thanks for once again showing there is little difference between the two men.

wrong again, sonny. Obama did nothing except run up the debt and divide the nation. Trump has gotten the economy booming again, cut YOUR taxes, brought jobs back to the USA, built up our military, reduced unemployment (especially black unemployment), and gotten the respect of our allies and the fear of our enemies.

The country is more divided now than it was a year ago, mostly because Trump lives to divide.

The national debt has gone up more than a trillion dollars since the day Trump took office. In less than 6 months under the first Trump budget we have gone up .6 trillion and at the current rate he will add 1.36 trillion in his first full FY.

Very little difference between the two men

Obama ran the deficit up due to his efforts to pull the US out of the GOP induced great recession. Trump is running The deficit up for one reason...to enrich himself and his criminal family.

As soon as the Russia collusion was exposed Tillerson had no role in the White House. He was there to submit to Russia, but Trump’s thugs left fingerprints everywhere like fools and the plan was discovered.

Interesting spin. I hadn't thought of that. But I think this has been brewing a long time.

Uh oh!

Trump says Tillerson out as secretary of state

By POLITICO STAFF

03/13/2018 08:51 AM EDT

President Donald Trump said Tuesday he is replacing Rex Tillerson as secretary of state, nominating CIA Director Mike Pompeo in his place.

"Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA, will become our new Secretary of State. He will do a fantastic job!" Trump tweeted Tuesday. "Thank you to Rex Tillerson for his service! Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen. Congratulations to all!

Pompeo's favored status in the West Wing for months led administration officials to view him as Tillerson's likely replacement. Haspel, who Trump said would replace Pompeo, became deputy director of the CIA las
Can Pompeo get up to speed in time for a May meeting in No. Korea.
His advice will be ignored anyway
You could tell Tillerson wasn't real happy with the President's open arms policy toward NoKo. I suppose it shouldn't surprise me. I suppose nothing should surprise me at this point.
What sickens me is this: After hearing the findings of the House Intelligence Committee that investigated Russian involvement in the 2016 election, and now hearing that Pompeo is replacing Tillerson, it seems like Trump is surrounding himself with only yes-men as fast as he can. That scares me more than anything else. These yes men, teamed with our President, will take off like a runaway carriage. God knows where we'll end up. Hope we don't end up in a ditch with our axles broken.

What makes you think they are "yes men"?

Did you consider Obama's appointees to be "yes men" in the same manner?
I didn't pay attention to politics then. But please, does EVERY THING have to revert back to a discussion of Obama? My post was about TRUMP.

So long as the double standard exists, yes.

It worked for O'Blamer.

Trump is running his cabinet like the real world: If you don't do the job like the boss expects you to, hit the bricks. The leftards see this a "chaos" but look at everything Trump has accomplished in just one short year.

Imagine how much more he could get done if the Democrats and never-trumpers weren't obstructing and dragging their feet as far as other cabinet postitions? They are truly terrified.

Get rid of the Democrats and never-trumpers and you have a dictatorship, just like SADDAM. It is easier to get things done in a dictatorship. Guess your on board for taking this country there?

Of course I am. Get rid of the Democrats, the liberals, the never-trumpers, and the Obama-era Tories, and we'd have damned fine well-oiled smooth-running government, just like the founding fathers inntended.

nothing i can really do about it. i like some of what he does, i hate other things. kinda like any other president we've had before him, just more TV based which started last president who needed to chime into every social situation and tell us what to think.

we as a country are not coming into the digital age of infomformation in politics very well at all.

The one thing the media, the haters, and sometimes even the supporters aren't able to wrap their heads around is that President Trump is not going to be like every other President. He isn't going to be like every other politician. He is no ideologue. He is no partisan. And he isn't a member of the permanent political class--elected, appointed, and/or hired--that has had things in Washington to suit and benefit THEM.

I don't know what happened with Tillerson, and this morning I hated hearing that Tillerson and the President probably did not come to a mutual agreement re Tillerson's leaving. It just grates on the nerves a bit and feels wrong. I often wish he would do these things differently.

But after objectively and I think impartially watching this President for the last 14 months, what he does is usually considered and calculated. He expects people who accept the jobs to do them, and to do them honorably and competently. And he has not only cut some of the bloat, he is accomplishing some very good things.

So at some time we'll no doubt find out the 'why' but for now I hate losing Pompeo as CIA director but think he'll be great as head diplomat too. At least he has remained 100% scandal free for the last 14 months and hopefully will continue that in his new post.
