We can only wild-guess at how many more in so-called "red" and "blue" states ---- two divisive concepts which would not exist if not for the WTA/EC ---- would get up and bother to vote once they finally had a reason to.

Currently if you live in a "red" or "blue" state you have four options:
1, vote along with the state
2, vote against the state
3. vote for a third party
4. stay home and bake cookies.

ALL FOUR produce exactly the same result, with the only difference being that in option 4 you at least get some cookies out of the deal.

Our national turnout rate was just 55% in 2016 and that's embarrassingly typical. This is a big reason why.
