This is a variation of the boxes of ballots in the trunk canard.

You seem not to understand that Nevada is one of the states where work on mail-in ballots can't start until election day when most of the man power is focused on in-person voting. So the mail-in ballots are processed late.

Also, part of the quality assurance process in all voting precints is to compare the number of vote counted with the number of voters that cast their votes. The votes in the trunk canard of just finding enough ballots would throw the tally's off and stick out like a sore thumb.

There is also the obvious question...if you can control the count electronically as every right wing loon here as contested at some point in time...why would you risk printing up millions of fraudulent ballots (which is probably a felony for each one printed) then risk millions of felonies of running them through the machines? Furthermore, if you're going to risk millions of felonies...why in the world would you not vote for every democrat on the ballot at the same time?

See that's what the conspiracy theorist don't get. They think ballots aren't something can can just be printed off on a home printer, stuffed in a trunk, and counted in the middle of the night OR that the numbers can just be added to the total count electronically.

Not the way it works, there are quality assurance processes to cross check the election six ways to Sunday:

• The election systems track the number of votes cast by category (mail-in, early, and election day).
• The totals for each are then cross checked against the ballots counted. If there are more votes because someone unloaded a car trunk of ballots and inserted them in the counting process that is going to stick out like a sore thumb.
• Ballots are printed on special paper, typically an odd size, and with marks that means you can't just print them on any printer.
• The machines are tested, certified, and sealed prior to the election to certify accuracy in reading the ballot.
• After the election random control samples are re-run through the tabulators to ensure they weren't tampered with and that they report accurate results.
• There are paper ballots along with the scanned tabulations. During a recount, if the electronic results exceed the number of paper ballots, that again is going to jump out.
