Toxic Train Wrecks. Bank Failures. Pandemics. Thanks Republicans!

Ask any Republican why Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) failed and they will spit out “woke,” along with some acronyms that are meaningless to probably 99% of the American public: DEI and ESG. That would be “diversity, equity, and inclusion” and “environmental, social, and governance” guidelines, the things they’re trying to replace “CRT” with as made-up acronymic scary things.

That’s a lot easier than dealing with reality. Trump and the GOP deregulated rails, and we got East Palestine. Trump and Republicans, primarily, rolled back some Dodd-Frank banking rules, and we got SVB.

Remember this from early March 2020?

“Trump disbanded NSC pandemic unit that experts had praised.” When Trump was declaring that COVID-19 “came out of nowhere” and “blindsided the world,” after he had disbanded the National Security Council directorate “charged with preparing for when, not if, another pandemic would hit the nation.”

Yeah, that.

It all comes down to a “small-government” GOP that’s become so obsessed with the “small” that they’ve abandoned the “government” part.

We need a new law. For every regulation Republicans cut, any citizen can sue them for damages when their small government BS goes south.

Biden did learn one thing from Obama.......

He can't do nuffin'

The most ridiculous thread I have ever seen, and I have been here a long time. Obama blamed Bush for 8 loooooooong years. Now Biden blames Trump after he has had the reigns for going on 2 and 1/2. Notice, when Trump took over and started fixing all of your screwups, you claimed it was all because of Obama, lol.

Biden changed virtually EVERYTHING when he came in, had control of EVERYTHING because his party was almost 100% in charge......but Trump did it, hehehehehehehe. According to all of you, Biden won virtually everything when taken to the Supreme Court when confronting the former President, and ALL of you have been touting just how wonderful things are economically, socially, and life is great. Now we hit a bump in the road, and we go back to it was all Trump, and the magnificent Biden had no control.

You really trying to sell this bull****, or are you flailing around trying to be a comedian; because if you are trying to do the latter, you are failing miserably! I know, your Democrats look incompetent to anyone who thinks, but trust me, young people do not think anymore, so your friends in high places will probably get away with screwing the pooch, yet again!

The funny part about the bi-partisan push to deregulate the smaller regional banks was that it was lobbied for (on the dem side) by the then ex-congressman Barney Frank.....He was also on the board of Signature Bank.

The main reason Barney is hated is because he came along later and demanded the 'mark to market' rule; other than that Republicans like Phil Gramm loved the little faggot. I get to laugh at Republicans now running around sniveling about Democrats were bad for deregulating stuff. lol lol lol

A detailed report released today by the Center for Responsive Politics shows that Countrywide employees have contributed $732,000 to congressional candidates since 1989, with the money fairly evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats.

... and of course so did other swindlers. And please don't bring up CDO's and 'Tranches' of mortgages re the 2008 bailouts; Todd and other right wingers get pissed off and upset and frustrated when people talk about stuff they don't know shit about and apparently can't cut and paste into google search boxes.

Toxic train wrecks, bank and SNL failures, pandemics, $7.00/gallon gasoline, failed military pullouts, epic inflation, monstrous debt, spiraling energy costs, mounting rent and mortgage rates, black outs, brown outs, energy shortages, food shortages, supply breakdowns, 6 million illegal aliens in two years, failure to secure our borders, education failures, massive layoffs and downsizing everywhere, war, military incursion, soaring crime and homelessness, government spying and spy balloons freely flying over. Thanks Democrats!

Dem shill Skew makin anotha dolla posting Dem Spew. Get a real job.

No it's like trump's actions didn't disappear when he lost the election. It took him 4 years to fuck up as much as he did. It will take quite a while to fix it.
So who is to blame? Trump for deregulation or Biden for keeping them.

Biden is president now, turd. He reregulated everything the minute he got back into office.

Cam you explain which regulation Trump got rid of that caused the train wreck?

Not sure what Republicans did to cause a bearing to go out in a train car .. but .. if there are so many problems from the Trump years, why didn't Democrats prioritize legislation when they had full control, instead of focusing on chicks with dicks?

Nothing fucks things up like deregulating everything!!! Depressions, recessions and death is all that is brought on by republican policies of deregulations.
-Poor air quality
-Safety standards lowered
-Rich and powerful assholes undermining our banking system
etc.
The Dims have been running everything for the last two years, you pathetic dumb fuck.

last i checked SVB didn’t collapse 2 years ago, in fact it was running just fine. It took xiden and the demafasict two years to wreak it

What's baffling to me is the people who think government is here to help them.

Politicians are people and are after their own self interests, same as the next person. They are no better than your average CEO, and in many cases much worse.

The Obama-era rule the Trump administration reversed would not have prevented the derailment of a train in Ohio.
