Toyota Moving American HQ From Cal To Texas

Good, the sooner California goes bankrupt the better. Since we are striving to become a third world socialist society, they might as well not beat around the bush an accelerate the process.

Yeah...those people are gonna love it there....for about 3 months. :D
You ever live here in Plano,Tx?

The median household income in Plano is $79,234, according to the U.S. Census Bureau,
nearly 60% above the national average, and 8.1% of residents are below the poverty line,
compared to a national rate of 15.1%.
The city is also home to a number of Fortune 500 companies.

“Plano is a very clean, affluent suburb with no inner city per se,” says John Worrall, head of the criminology program at the University of Texas at Dallas. “Plus it has one of the few police departments in the U.S. that require four-year degrees. I don’t know that there is research to back up its making things safer, but it makes Plano unique.”

2nd lowest crime rate in the country for cities over 200,000.

And yes we have snow occasionally!

You ever live here in Fisher Island, Fl?

The median household income in Fisher Island is $250,001, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly 300% above the national average, and 523.3% of residents are below the poverty line, compared to a national rate of 15.1%. The estimated home value is $1,000,000.00. AGI is $1,747,602.

Aren't statistics fun?!

I know. I have a place in Florida also and the big difference you keep forgetting is Texas is for work and Florida is for fun!

Most of the residents of Fisher Island don't work like most of the residents of Plano and that's the reason Toyota isn't moving to Fisher Island as there are only 226 households and a total population of 132 persons. Not enough workers to meet Toyota's requirements. Sorry.

So as a "one percenter" you are a hypocrite as you are living off your inheritance, feeling guilty about living in the lap of luxury while you make fun of industrious Texans!

1. Texas is not as red as you think. In fact, Republicans aren't even guaranteed to win the governorship in November.

2. Businesses aren't leaving California in droves like you think, in fact California is adding jobs at a faster rate than Texas. If you are truly naive to think all businesses are trying to leave California, then you are too far blinded by red that it has clouded your logical thought process.

This is a big hit to California. Not necessarily numbers, but image. Texas May shade more purple but it will make a big mistake if it starts increasing taxes and regulations. Why mess with success? Leave the oil companies alone. Texas already has one of the most affordable state education institutions and a good quality of life. Why mess with it? Who wants to see Dallas morph into Chicago or Houston become another Detroit? Don't adopt those cities' failed policies.

Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know why any business the size of Toyota, will save millions by leaving lib infested California, and move to the pro-business state of Texas.

Congratulations Rick Perry ! :eusa_clap:

You've missed the point. You can post all the statistics you want, but when the sun goes down; Torrance, CA - GOOD. Plano, TX - SUCKS.

No it's not. Corporations move to the southern states all the time because the people down there don't mind working for dirt wages, and corporations don't mind making increased profits.

FYI: Houston IS ANOTHER Detroit. Houston is the most polluted city in the United States of America.

The California question will resolve itself soon enough.

In time a Marxist Mexican president will tell Obama to give it back.

And He will.

With the nicest of apologies and a deep, profound bow.

Marxist as in outlawing child labor? Or free education for children?
