That war was only about taking Gaddafi out and handing the country/oil over to Great Britain, France, and the US. Gaddafi was well-respected and liked by his neighbors in the region. He was absolutely no threat to anyone. The West wanted the oil. It's as simple as that.

A war to seize control of a country and its resources. That's all the Libya war was about. You just named two of the three nations that benefited most from it. The war was designed to hand control of Libya's vast oil wealth over to Great Britain, France, and the US. It is what it is.

What that is is 3 frames of jumpy video that shows an explosion, but doesn't show what hit it. Why? Because the plane plowed into the Pentagon at around 400 or 500 mph and was too fast to be picked up on video.

Some (like you), have tried to say that it was actually a cruise missile. Only problem with that is that it would have had to be launched from somewhere outside the US. The airspace above DC is some of the most watched and protected in the whole country, and if something like that was launched, radars and other things would have picked it up long before it hit.

Some might try to say it was a shoulder fired missile, but the explosion is too big for that kind of weapon. If you try to say that there were multiple shooters, sorry, that would have been noticed.

Nope, it was a passenger jet. How do we know this? From the subsequent investigation and clean up they had to do.

Yes, they did. The wings folded up alongside the aircraft upon impact and continued into the hole created by the impact. Those main landing gear struts attach to the bottom of the wing and were found inside the building. The vast majority of the aircraft burned/melted from the intense heat.

Trump is correct, and this is from a Retired Marine. We wasted trillions and thousands of lives and have NOTHING to show for it. The middle east is a bigger mess than it was on 9/11 and we are way further in debt and have way fewer brave men and women as veterans thanks to fucking Bush and Obama.

I do not agree with Trump on much of anything but he is right here. We have not accomplished much over there. This is where empires have gone since the beginning of time to destroy them selves. Nation building is stupid and does not work unless you are building it for your self.

One of the big problems with nation building in Afganastan is that a good percentage of the population is illiterate. Democracy may not be the best form of government when the people voting can not even read the ballot.
