Trump Confesses Just Before Key Classified Docs Hearing

This whole “declassification” nonsense is a read herring.

Once Trump left the WH he had no right to HAVE that information.

None. And his refusal to return it and lies about it having been returned are evidence of intent.

There are a dozen ways he could have those documents without "stealing" them.
"Stealing" is a clearly defined term wherein you knowingly take something that doesn't belong to you.
"the action or offense of taking another person's property without permission or legal right and without intending to return it; theft."
Are you so sure that Biden knew he had those documents or that he took them on purpose - with intent. Or that he had no intention of returning them???
Trump stole the classified documents. He knew what he was doing and he did it on purpose.
1. LIAR. Name a few dozen ways Biden could have classified docs without stealing them from a SCIF.

2. Biden knew that taking classified docs out of the SCIF was a crime. He did it knowingly, as the prosecutor said.

3. Trump had a right to have classified docs, he said/thought he declassified them, not a crime, no intent.

and POTUS has ultimate authority,,
Which goes away after they're no longer POTUS.

Whether he declassified them is all academic anyway, he has yet to state in court that he declassified anything and there's plenty of reason to think that he would not do so given the description of these documents and how sensitive they are.

if it was given to him by POTUS he had a right to have them,,

he also had that info in his mind,, do they wipe their memory when a POTUS leaves office??

From your link:

"In all cases, however, a formal procedure is required so governmental agencies know with certainty what has been declassified and decisions memorialized. A federal appeals court in a 2020 Freedom of Information Act case, New York Times v. CIA, underscored that point: “Declassification cannot occur unless designated officials follow specified procedures,” the court said."
Do you think the President is a “designated official”?

if POTUS gave him the documents they are his,, and thats exactly what happened,,

1. We do not know that Biden was reviewing those documents in a SCIF.

2. The prosecutor said nothing about a SCIF. The prosecutor said that the evidence was insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

3. Trump has not told the court that he declassified anything. Refusing to comply with the grand jury subpoena is a crime, with intent.

he didnt have to use the SCIF,, he had them in his garage,,

post the process! Cause, John Fitzpatrick says otherwise. Here, take a listen to the expert!!!!!!

Go to the last few minutes if your link, it says the OPPOSITE....it confirms there is a process to do it, even the president follows.

Why are you pushing the BigLie that classified docs can't ever be removed from a SCIF?

Are you lying deliberately, or are you just astoundingly ignorant of how things work?

Needless to say, nobody outside of your liars' cult is falling for it, so whatever the case, you may as well stop telling the lie.

That's absolutely not the case. People are provided access to classified documents only as long as they are needed.
determined by POTUS,,

so if he gave himself a document while POTUS they are his after he leaves office just like if he gave a document to anyone else,,

happens all the time,,

1. LIAR. Senators can only review classified docs in a SCIF.
2. LIAR. Hur said he did not exonerate Biden. Hur could have indicted Biden but elected not to because he's too mentally incompetent to stand trial.
3. LIAR.

Why do you keep typing lies? Very few people are authorized to remove classified documents from a SCIF.
Senators aren't one of them.

The president and a few others have special authorities to view classified information while in or out of office. Any former president, vice president and a few others, by law, have access to all and any classified information in perpetuity by the nature of the position they held. But no one may remove classified information without proper authorization, including the president.
