So a rifle that would hit from 200 yards off ? Maybe something along the lines of an old bolt action rifle ? That’s what got Kennedy. Reagon was hit with a .22 revolver, or here, dude could have just bought an AMC gremlin, waited for noon, pointed it at the front door and hit the gas. Or just made a bomb.

In other words you have no clue why legal prohibitions cause otherwise law abiding people to become criminals, while at the same time doing nothing to keep those pre-disposed toward violent criminality from acting on their base inclinations? Not to mention making the black market in the very items that such laws seek to prohibit far more lucrative.

Perhaps you ought to do a little research on the history of legal prohibitions and then re-examine the validity of your public policy proposals, since all you have going for you on this particular issue is "wishful thinking" and "willful ignorance of human nature and history".
