Obamacare legislation is signed into law and the regulations written. Trump doesn't have to lift a finger just stand back and let it spiral into the ground and blame Dem's. :eusa_clap:

Poor Dem's Obamacare remains shackled around your necks strangulating your party, I love that! :eusa_dance:

Are lefties gearing up to blame Trump when Obamacare collapses? Where was the democrat party when republicans tried to save the sorry mess that democrats passed without even reading?

Of course they will , nothing is EVER their fault.

FACT: If Trump sabotages Obamacare - he will own it. I have heard from various sources that HHS Secretary Tom Prices also has ways he can sabotage Obamacare. Trump should NOT let him!
Republicans will slash funding, not enforce requirements, encourage states to stop supporting it

They will slowly let the air out of Obamacare

But it will be Red States that will feel the effects first. What will Republican congressmen do when their voters ask for help?

The Department of Health and Human Services inspector general has launched an investigation into the Trump administration’s decision to pull ads encouraging people to sign up for the Affordable Care Act during the enrollment period. By shutting down such outreach, the action could be seen as a stealth way to starve the health plan without legislative authority, critics say.

President Donald Trump’s administration said the ads were a waste of money, but Democrats have characterized the action as sabotage.

Trump should put his pettiness aside and work with Democrats to fix the glitches in Obamacare. Potitics should be removed from American healthcare. If Trump tries to sabotage Obamacare - then HE will be responsible for its failure!

Oh, fucking please. Who around here do you think is going to swallow this line of bullshit?

First of all, the Inspector General can "probe" any fucking thing he likes, and it won't make a difference. Starving programs you don't like of money, enrollees, what-the-fuck-ever is a time-honored tradition in Washington. You leftists need not twist up your panties in faux outrage, trying to pretend it's something new and shocking.

Second of all, The Department of Health and Human Services is part of the Executive Branch, last time I checked. It answers to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, who answers to . . . oh, right, the President (aka the Chief Executive). Which means he can authorize or de-authorize advertising all he wants, for pretty much whatever reason he wants. He doesn't even have to tell them his reasons, if he doesn't care to.

Third, if you really wanted politics "removed from American healthcare", you wouldn't have worked so hard to put American healthcare under the purview of the federal government. Even you aren't stupid enough to think that one gets the government involved in order to get LESS politics.

Fourth, Obamacare is a shambling piece of shit going into Trump's presidency, and everyone knows it, even if some people (read: YOU) aren't honest enough to admit it. Trump will be no more "responsible for its failure" by not advertising for enrollees than a person shooting a zombie is responsible for it BECOMING a zombie in the first place.

Not to mention that the House has charge of the budget. Those commercials were stupid anyway.

House gets to say how much the DHHS gets, but I believe the Department itself - and those it answers to - get to apportion that money to individual programs and uses.

I'm not a big fan of the federal government advertising, as a general rule. Just feels . . . squicky to me.

There's no need to sabotage a law that was designed to fail, it will work as designed and fail all by itself. Just don't expect us to lift a finger to save it.

What the hell would be the point in sabotaging something that already imploded on it's own? The ones who sabotaged Obamacare were the ones who wrote it because they needed it to fail in order to pave the way for single payer.

They need to repeal it and forget about replacing it.
Then later they can do a series of small bills like opening state borders to competition, opening federal borders so we can buy drugs from other countries, and stuff like that.

Let em die

Tried that "new one" option, epic fail. May need to try the "fix" option now.

This is what is screwed up with this country. we have someone being paid to investigate why the government isn't advertising for health insurance when they have no business advertising for health insurance to begin with.

Oh and ACA has been a failure since day 1. It has always been a failure. It is still a failure. In fact it was deliberately designed to be a failure. There is is nothing Donald trump or anyone else could do to make it any more of a failure.

But of course now the kool aid drinkers like lakhota and the rest of the low information Democrat are going to blame Republicans for this crappy legislation they had to force on the people with fraud and cheating.

Lives have been destroyed so democrats can have more power.

Not that he wants to, but Trump knows he can't ask Democrats for help to fix American healthcare - because his radical base would abandon him. Compromise and consensus are dirty words to them.

You have us confused with you. We would welcome constructive cooperation.

The poll is phfunnie. Trump does not need to sabotage the ACA/Obama mess. The Act is doing it to itself.

Already being sabotaged by the Republican party, constantly undermining the law, governors in Red States not accepting the expansion cash of Medicare, and outright lying about the cost! Obamacare has saved people's lives and kept cost down which was already going out of control! If Republicans would tweak it a little, maybe go to "single payer," we would be in a lot better shape, but they are SMALL people who'd rather see people drop dead in the streets of the country! I wished they'd stop making it like Obamacare keeps insurance companies from offering policies in different states! Those are state rules that keep the practice from occurring, but the truth wouldn't serve you guys! :9: :argue:

The sky is falling, holy crap, hysterical much?

As opposed to you and your ilk that say the ACA will fall of it's own weight and "we won't do a thing to help improve the law!" :banana2: :blahblah: :anj_stfu:

I don't see the Dems lifting a finger to help improve the AHCA either.

He did ask them for their help. He asked them to vote for his bill. What did they tell him? Every single Democrat told him to shove it.
