Trump is trying to confuse Russia with the Ukraine because then he can say he's looking for corruption, and not just political dirt on Biden. Unfortunately, there is zero proof that Ukraine has done anything in our elections.

But then again, Trump supporters are so blinded by their unwavering loyalty to their dear leader that they will believe anything he says. Even when he says one thing one day, and then says the exact opposite the next.

1. Here is the bottom line Trump was not elected on his promises. He won because 25% of voters thought he was less dishonest than Clinton. The terrorists have not stopped their activities so we cannot either. Even McConnell's op-ed in the Washington Post warned that Trump is following the path of Obama in withdrawing prematurely.

Our troops were not in harm's way in Syria. The Kurds were doing the fighting and holding prisoners which they have now released. Our troops were engaging in operations against terrorist targets to gather information. Even the soldiers who were supposedly in harm's way oppose what Trump is doing. After withdrawing troops from Syria, he sends troops to Saudi Arabia. Last time I checked, Saudi Arabia is in the Middle East. They have a business relationship with Trump which seems to determine who gets American troops.

2. Trump had a plank in the Republican platform removed that supported lethal aid to Ukraine. However he cut off aid to Ukraine several weeks before he asked the Ukrainian President to investigate Biden.

3. All Kurds do not belong to that group and even so it is irrelevant. The Kurds in Syria have not been involved in any war with Turkey and it was Turkey who attacked them first committing a number of atrocities.

4. Ho-hum. Who gives a shit.
