The Speaker of the House must authorize the vote on an article of impeachment. The current Speaker, Ryan, has one metric which will determine his position: How will this impact me?

If he believes it's good for him to go forward, he allow the vote, if he feels it would harm his career, he will not.

I can see how you would make that mistake being that you're a Dumbocrat and you only have Dumbocrats to model behavior after. However snowflake, Republicans don't conduct themselves like that. Paul Ryan is not Harry Reid. Ryan is a man of integrity and character. If Trump did something that warrants impeachment - it will happen. If he doesn't - it won't. It really is that simple (unfortunately - even simplicity confused Dumbocrats).
