OMG! I've heard things at times to this effect, and it seems that some of these "churches" actually pursue grooming activities covered up by a veneer of holiness. It doesn't seem like they do this to the boys so much. The white dresses and "purity rings" make me barf.
I saw an awful program last week in which some women, now in their 20s, who were sent by their parents to a farm run by the parents' "pastor" when they were around 13 years old. You know what happened, and they didn't understand what was happening to them, having been told absolutely nothing about sex. Their parents told them to follow this representative of God. I remember Loretta Lynn said that after she got married at age 15, she did not know where the babies were coming from. Yup. Keep 'em ignorant and take advantage of them.
