What fetish? All I"m pointing out is it costs much more to live in a blue state than many red ones. If it costs more to live, you have to make more money to survive. If you make more money at your job, you pay higher income taxes than red states.

Years ago I had a kid applying for an apartment. He was from Buffalo and was coming here to attend a school. I couldn't rent the apartment to him because he had no job. I put the lease in his mothers name and she took care of the rent.

It's a small place but plenty for him. He loved it because it was his own little house. I charged his mother $425.00 a month for rent.

One day we were talking about my property, and he told me that if it were possible to take my apartments and move them on the outskirts of NYC, that house I was charging $425.00 for would easily go for $1,100 a month, and I would have a mile long waiting list to boot. My larger units about $1,500 a month or better.

I keep my rents pretty much in line with the surrounding area. But if I could do what he said, and move everything I have to the NYC area, I would be making thousands of dollars more per month, but not living any better lifestyle because of taxes and cost of living.

If you sweep floors for a living, make french fries, stock shelves, yes, you can get a plan for next to nothing if not for nothing. TRUE: California has the nation’s highest poverty rate

Mayes, who represents parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties, claimed the state’s poverty rate is higher than any state in the nation when considering factors such as cost-of-living.

"If you look at the official poverty measure in California, we’re about average with the rest of the country," Mayes said. "But if you use the supplemental poverty measure, we are in the lead. We have the highest poverty rate in the nation -- higher than New Mexico, higher than any of the southern states, Louisiana, Alabama, higher than Idaho."

No you don't..........too expensive to build military equipment in anti business Blue States..why they build them here......cheaper.............saves the tax payers money....

Having worked for DoD for 40 years, I realized those military contracts are distributed to almost every congressional district in the nation
