Supposedly Rick Santorum is fighting for paid maternity leave. Of all people.

But only for women, amd only for women who gave birth. Not adoptive parents, not male gay couples, etc. He is a fundamental religious nutball who is not tryimg to institute parental leave, but rather incentivize traditionally married people to have more babies, in order to swing the demographic back to his Christian vision of paradise
