I also find the Qatar connection interesting as well.

When Trump's son in law went and asked Qatar investors if they would lend him money, they said no. A couple of weeks later, Trump agrees with the Saudi sanctions on Qatar.

A few weeks back, Qatar finally decided to lend the money for investment. Last week Qatar got an official WH visit, as well as were called "important allies" by Trump.
