Trump Wanted to Order Justice Dept. to Prosecute Comey and Clinton

About time the DOJ went after Hillary and Comey. We have an AG who will do what he's supposed to do.

Jesus H Christ....What's the over/under on how many threads on this mess will be started in the next couple of hours?

Trump and obstruction of justice may have ORDERED to get his WH counsel, McGahn, to prosecute Comey and H. Clinton. A fish rots from the head!

"President Donald Trump said he wanted to order the Justice Department to prosecute his former presidential opponent Hillary Clinton and former FBI Director James Comey, The New York Times reported Tuesday.

The Times, citing two people familiar with the conversation, reported that Trump made the remark in the spring to former White House counsel Don McGahn, who told the president that he had no authority to order such action by the DOJ.

To impress his point upon Trump, McGahn had White House lawyers draft a memo outlining the consequences of merely asking the DOJ to investigate his political rivals — including impeachment, the newspaper reported."

Might even wake up one of the moderators, so they can merge them together.

Wait until Hillary is swinging from a rope, though. I predict 525 threads about it.

Maybe? Are you kidding? The man is waving a flag saying..."I AM OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE! Come and get me!

The Stooge he just put in charge of the DOJ will do everything he can to squash this....

You call it "obstructing justice", I call it "dispensing justice."

Hillary should swing from a yardarm on the White House lawn.

Trump has committed all manner of impeachable offenses – offenses that warrant his removal from office consistent with Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution.

Impeachment is a political – not legal – process; a president can be removed from office via the impeachment process absent alleged criminal wrongdoing; because he's doing a poor job as president, such as Trump.

But that will never happen.

Democrats don’t want Pence as president.

A conviction in the Republican Senate would be impossible.

And the American people would never support removing a president from office absent alleged criminal wrongdoing, as most Americans incorrectly believe that a president must have committed a crime to be impeached.

Indeed, Trump benefits from Americans’ ignorance.

He Benefits from "Americans' Ignorance?"

HE WAS ELECTED BY AMERICANS'S IGNORANCE. They believed all the lies that the Russian Bots put on social media about Hillary Clinton.

well at least you include yourself among the ignorant....

Th Obama election showed that over 50 percent of the voters believed a proven liar.

A total fraud. A cult of personality. Thank God he is a complete and total human disaster though, because it took Trump about 18 months before he fixed most of the damage. With the republicrats purging weak reps out, maybe they'll get their shit together in 2 more years, get behind Trump and get us back on the road to prosperity and dominance. It's plainly obvious to me that Trump is working in our best interests. The meat puppet faggot was working in spite of our interests. The results in the economy alone is testimony to that fact.

So? Hillary broke the law and lied repeatedly.

So you have proof of that? So I'll save you the time, yes I have proof fox, info wars, breitbart and gateway pundit said so. Yep that's enough to prosecute.

How about Comey's testimony before congress?

He spelled it out in no uncertain terms laws were broke, but he didn't think he could find a prosecutor to charge her.

He didn't bother looking.

Yup, everything you say is true. But the NOTION of a possible impeachment by the House early in the next Congress combined with very real possibility of an indictment for obstruction of justice for ordering McGahn to fire Comey coming from the mouth of the Orange Clown will make even GOP Senators think differently.

And who says Pence is clean given he was in charge of the transition team and all the machinations for that period and afterword? I will grant Pence is one evil and devious SOB.

And don't forget that there is NO protection of privilege, either Presidential or lawer/client, if a crime has been committed or being investigated. The next month or so will wind up being historic on the level of the Nixon shenanigans back in '73 & '74.
