Trump Wants to Mandate Insurance Companies to Pay for IVF Treatments

Well, it depends on why you oppose "free shit".
A bit more precisely, it depends on what the "free shit" is.
I oppose it because it's not the purpose of government and invariably violates equal protection.
NOt sure how you make the "equal protection" argument
It promotes dependency and the notion that government is there to take care of us.
Well, we disagree, I think gvt does exists to take care of us. I fully support some system of welfare to help people get back on their feet when they've been dealt a nasty turn in life. Welfare a way of life? Nope.
It exists primarily because Congress wants more power to extract money from lobbyists. (eg you can bet the IVF companies will be adamant champions, and aggressive lobbyists, for Trump's IVF requirement.)

Today's Republicans don't oppose "free shit" on principle. They just want different free shit than the Democrats.
Again, it depends on the nature of the "free shit"

Uh... no they don't. If you read my posts, you'd know that. Not that you're under any obligation to read my posts, but I oppose this kind of crap across the board.

I can't say I've ever seen it, all I see from you 'middle' people is a lean to the left and you load on with the left in any thread that's about Trump policy.

Maybe you're just stuck in the two-party mindset, assuming that anyone who disagrees with you "leans left".

It's not just you though. Dems give me the same nonsense - they think I'm a Trumpster!

Obviously unworkable horseshit, that politicians sell to voters anyway because "free shit", is populism.
Obviously all.completely workable, as evidenced by every other first world country.

Also, student loan forgiveness may even save money.

They operate as programmed.

There's actually a reasonable argument (not a good one, but a reasonable one) for the student loan thing, given that the US government was, and still is, promoting predatory lending. But the price controls on groceries, the free money for home buyers, etc -- that kind of pandering is almost always better to drop once you get the votes. Following through on it always causes more problems than it solves.

Baloney.
Self responsible people take out loans then pay them off.

Isn't this communism? Mandating insurance coverage is exactly how ObamaCare worked and the people backing Trump railed against that legislation. IVF treatment is expensive and it will result in everyone's health insurance premiums to rise. Trump continues to tack further and further to the left. Where is the outrage from MAGA? He also stated today he would be voting in support of the amendment in Florida to throw out the six week abortion restriction. The line between Trump and Harris is getting thinner as we get closer to November.

I could care less about the insurance companies. What concerns me is he's guaranteeing that the US government will pay for IVF treatment. That's socialism.

"I'm announcing, under the Trump administration, your government will pay for IVF treatment."

TRUMP'S A SOCIALIST. And you Trumpbots are supporting this crap.

Emergency price controls would be hamhanded.

That's one item though. Doesn't really support your sweeping statements.
