Trump will eventually be exonerated because of unequal Application of Law. Does anyone here dispute that he is being charged with "crimes" that have not been applied to others in similar circumstances? If you need a link, look up "14th Amendment."

The Dems are using the power to Indict as a way to smear Trump and to create enough doubt to make him unelectable.
It is a smear tactic.

Trump’s crimes are separate from anyone else’s. If there’s evidence against others, it should be presented, but that doesn’t exonerate Trump.

The only special treatment that Trump seems to be getting is that if he was any other defendant, he would be held in jail without bail, because he’s threatening other witnesses, and the prosecutor and the judge.

And he’s not being charged with half the crimes he committed while in office. Bri, Bribery, corruption, pay for play, threatening, abuse of power. Trump was a one-man crime spree the entire four years he was in office.

Even if Trump gets his Georgia case moved to federal court, there will be a federal judge and different jury - but Fani Willis will still be trying the case and Georgia state pardon laws will still apply - meaning Trump could not be pardoned until after serving his full sentence and then waiting five more years on good behavior before requesting a pardon. So, I'm no longer worried about Trump or any of the other 18 getting transferred to federal court.

Others’ “crimes” don’t exonerate Trump.

Yep. Trump has to be convicted to ask for a pardon. His lies have put the country through hell...and look at the cost.

A President Trump couldn’t pardon himself for a state crime and the governor is legally barred from doing so. Look for a bill to be introduced in the GA legislature to change that.

MTG will likely do that. I doubt it would pass.

I’m talking the GA legislature, not Congress. It should have an easier time there.

I knew you meant the Georgia legislature. Georgia isn't impressed with Trump. He's a tired old trickster in makeup and hairspray.

Federal court would mean the Georgians harmed by the Trump Rico Enterprise, would not be able to view the trial on tv.
