How Judge Merchan Is Orchestrating Trump’s Conviction

LOL I have a huge iggie list, and for some reason s/he hasn't pissed me off enough to earn that distinction.
It's not about being pissed off. Trolls simply waste my time.

You know, just because they tell you to use the word "scheme" doesn't make anything illegal.

Uh, they haven't shown anything was falsified or that anything was covered up.

They haven't shown that Cohen broke any campaign finance law.
there were 34 legal expense entries in the business records that were actually a reimbursement for the hush payment. And Cohen went to jail for an illegal campaign contribution because the $130k was more than $2,300 limit.

It was a disbursement from their lawyer for an NDA he negotiated.

?? It wasn't a contribution, it was a legal disbursement for which he as repaid, you know, the $130K you brought up.

And they haven't yet brought up Cohen's conviction.

DO you really think Cohen is going to argue that they send his client to prison for following his legal advice?

You should really think about the shit they feed you before you repeat it.

Suuuuure there were. Funny how they have failed to make that link.

DURRRRRR

Three payments that prosecutors say were made on Trump’s behalf to bury marital infidelity claims during his 2016 presidential campaign. They are the National Enquirer’s $30,000 payment to a Trump Tower doorman and $150,000 payment to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, and the $130,000 that Trump’s then-lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen arranged to pay porn actor Stormy Daniels.

Paying hush money isn’t illegal on its own, but authorities say the payments made to suppress stories about Trump amounted to illegal campaign contributions. Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to a federal campaign violation, among other unrelated crimes. The National Enquirer’s parent company, American Media Inc., entered into a nonprosecution agreement in exchange for its cooperation with prosecutors. The Federal Election Commission fined the company $187,500, declaring that the McDougal deal was a “prohibited corporate in-kind contribution.”

Yes, they did show that the 34 business records were falsified,(Alan Weisselberg hand written notes) to cover up the NDA payment by Cohen.

Cohen was already convicted for the campaign finance laws he broke.

NDAs are legal, even if done for a campaign or for business....Trump could have been fine with the hush money and cash and kill etc. etc. if he simply reported it correctly on the books and paid for it etc etc, but he managed as he always seems to do....to bring it to a criminal level by falsifying records, by getting others to do the dirty work with their money, by thinking he can do anything he wants, the way he wants it, and to hell with the rule of law....imo.

OK. Once again, prosecution has provided exactly zero evidence of any crime by Trump. Zero.

Nope Nothing false and no coverup. Serious, think critically about the partisan bullshit they are feeding you.

Cohen was already convicted for the campaign finance laws he broke.

LOL What are they telling you was the "correct" way to report it? "Hush money to a whore that is extorting the boss for money?" LOL Trump's folks have already testified that didn't have that option on their accounting software

but he managed as he always seems to do....to bring it to a criminal level by falsifying records, by getting others to do the dirty work with their money, by thinking he can do anything he wants, the way he wants it, and to hell with the rule of law....imo.

Yeah? So? Payments made in 2017 are not going to have much affect on a 2016 election, dumbass.

but youre responding to a post with the year 2016 in it. It said the payments were made on trump's behalf during the 2016 election.
And as the FEC and DOJ themselves have said, those payments were completely legal.

No, the records show the payments were made in 2017. Kinda hard to affect past events.

But we all know you don't understand logic.
