My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter.

In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison.

To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before in the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross.

As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice.... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows.

For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people.... When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe

Obama claims to be a Christian too. A lot of people, for political purposes, have claimed to be a believer when, in fact, they are not. Additionally, it's pretty evident that Hitler did not believe in any of Christ's teachings as he certainly didn't follow them.

And whatever Hitler did bad it was not in the name of Atheists.

Why does an afterlife have to be tied to a creator? Why cant we have a creator and we just die?
Or what if there is an afterlife given to us by a creator and no soul?
Look at the Buddhists; they believe in the afterlife but not souls. They believe phenomena exists after death that is dissolved upon "nirvana" but not an "immortal soul"

Honestly, even being around Buddhists and Hindus a lot I can’t wrap my head around their beliefs.

Its very complicated, for sure lol.

He may not have been a Christian just like the Pedophile Priests aren't "real" Christians but that doesn't mean the sheep in their flock weren't. And this is the problem with Christianity. It's a made up story designed to manipulate and control the masses. And look how well Hitler played the Christians. He got them all to go along. Every Christian in Germany and every Christian in Italy. Don't forget Italy is the home of the Catholic Church and Italy joined the NAZIS!!!

Yes, Hitler used the church to gain control. Doesn’t mean he was a believer.

I doubt 25-50% of the people sitting in any church believe what they are hearing. Maybe they like the community of it all. Maybe their wife or mom or dad is making them go. Maybe they are going to meet a wife.
Or maybe they want their kids growing up with the fear of god in them. I've heard a lot of people make the argument that people would be worse people if they didn't believe in god. So some adults take their kids to get them brainwashed for their own good.
