U.S. Rep. McSally Introduces Bill to Eliminate Healthcare Exemption for Members of Congress
April 27, 2017
Press Release

The Right Honorable U.S. Representative Martha McSally (AZ-02) wants to make sure that "Members of Congress" cannot exempt "the American Health Care Act (AHCA)."

She argues that those who need no benefits greater than those they represent. Hear hear.

Her bill would get rid of the exemption section in the ACHA should it become the law of land.

Ok, sounds like a mandate or a tax will remain part of the bill.

Ok, let's hear from all you liberals who have been insisting that Congress isn't exempt from ACA.

We are talking about AHCA. Get to it. So either you agree that Congress should be or should not be exempt.
