Unemployed need not apply

Only the Right is not bright enough to help the Chinese become more first world so their labor can be as expensive as ours.

100% stupid and liberal since the right's capitalistic philosophy and free trade has helped China to grow at the fastest rate in human history; in fact so fast that they almost instantly eliminated 40% of the world's poverty!!

See why we say 100% stupid?
The more expensive their labor is the more competitive our labor is, dear.

That was my point. Sorry I didn't make myself clear.
I bet the difference in wages and benefits is greater than the tariff. It is just an added bonus.
And how about next year instead of giving the CEO $1 million bonus you give half to the workers. That's what union companies do.

and thats why most union jobs went to China!

See why we have to be 100% positive that liberalism is based in pure ignorance and should be illegal in America?
Turns out you are dead wrong. I just heard this on the radio. Ford isn't moving plants to Mexico because of unions. If Ford wants to ship a car to Europe from America they get a 10% tariff. Mexico has the most free trade agreements of any country. Something like 45 countries. If Mexico ships a car to Europe there are ZERO tariffs.

Now I know why union jobs are going to Mexico instead of Arkansas or Mississippi.

union jobs went to Mexico, China and many other places. To prevent and reverse this trend we must end liberalism: unions, tariffs, corporate taxes, deficits, illegals, etc..

Do you understand?

Well, in 2010, according to Ford, the average auto worker wage here was around $55 an hour excluding health care, other benefits, retirement, etc. Up from $30 in 2008, and Toyota's $50 an hour. According to this Bloomberg article, the average in Mexico is $26 a day for wages. I would doubt they receive all the benefits that auto workers here receive as well.

It'd be interesting to see that analysis, honestly

I hope it fixes mexico. All that international business has to help the masses in mexico. We will survive. We're America.

Me, too.

Then don't complain when jobs leave America. Corporations do what you and I do, look for the best price.
I can't go to Canada to get cheaper prescriptions.

Corporations will do whatever the citizens and government will allow or put up with.

But your position will be to obstruct any getting in the way of the rich who you worship more than Jesus.

No you shop around for the best prices.

Who said I worshipped them, other than you?

I'm telling you what they will do, they will act like you and I and will get the best prices. Do you buy the most expensive food out there and not look for sales?
If I could go to Canada and bring back cigarettes for a lot cheaper and sell them i would but the government would stop me at the border. They should stop corporations too. Pay a duty tax or tariff.

I am not talking about you buying over the border, I'm telling you when you shop for anything, low prices are usually a consideration. That is why Walmart is such a big success. People are like corporations they go to the lowest cost. Thus like everyone else the corporations look for cost savers and they happen to be outside the U.S. borders.

The largest volume liquor store in the state of Idaho is in Post Fall, ID. It is across the state line from Washington's second largest city, Spokane. Why are they such high volume? Washington liquor tax is a lot higher than Idaho's liquor tax. Costco in Coeur D'Alene, next to Post Falls, is the highest volume cigarette distributor for the same reason.

Going to Canada, get items duty free, it's cheaper.
Get caught at the border go to jail. That's what should happen to the international corporations. No duty free.

So you can shop for the best pricing anywhere you want, yet corporations are only allowed to shop in the US?

Can you legally go by 500 cartons of cigarettes in Canada and bring them in duty free? I think not. Remember I live in Michigan where we have the bridge and tunnel to canada.

And you can't go to Canada for cheaper prescriptions drugs.

That isn't what I'm saying. What I am saying is that like you and I, they can shop legally for the best prices and terms. They are no different than you or I in looking and choosing on price.

all agree, and????????????????????????
socialism is regulation. understand, now; dear?

100% stupid as always both libs and cons believe in Fed regulation of money supply. Way too subtle for someone just learning English
Yes, dear; capitalism died in 1929; now do you understand.

socialism is regulation. understand, now; dear?
look it up stupid liberal. Socialism is when govt owns industry. Our govt may regulate a car company for example but that does not mean they own it or even have a significant amount of control over it.

Simply enough??

Yes, dear; capitalism died in 1929; now do you understand.

Liberal Nazi propaganda lie of course which explains why you have no evidence.
The government regulation of our money supply is all the evidence i need to assert socialism in our markets to regulate lazy, laissez-fair capitalism regarding full employment of resources; now do you understand, dear?
