Two years ago, University of Missouri was in the news from a series of racial protests there during which a reporter covering the event was attacked by an angry white female teacher there where his camera was taken from him and he was physically ejected from the property for not being from an approved news source.
The events drew nationwide attention. Staff of the University resigned and the whole thing was seen as a major victory.
UPDATE: Earlier this year I believe, that same instructor from above was fired from her job for her on-camera tirades. The University has announced that they are now in major financial trouble from the backwash of the protests which sparked similar protests in other universities across the country----- since news of these events, enrollment to the university is now down by over 35%, with black enrollment down by 42%.
