Donald sees a conspiracy to attack russia.

Ukraine seems to have a special significance for putin. No doubt his tanks would be rolling through the Baltics unless Nato had let them in. But the prospect of Nato troops right on RUssia's border with Ukraine was too much. Imo the problem is/was, and what Donald never wants to accept, is that ANY accomodation Nato made over Ukraine would not have been good enough for Putin, because his end game was always Russian econ and military dominating Ukraine.

It would be much preferable if there was a verifiable and strict non-military presence by either Russia or Nato, and no limit on who Ukraine could trade with, or any trade agreement.
