Veterans sue city in New York that ordered Don't Tread On Me flag taken down

The city council had ordered the flag down in March, citing complaints that the yellow banner with a coiled rattlesnake was making a political statement. The flag has been used as an unofficial symbol of the Tea Party since at least 2008 and is often flown at party rallies, tax protests and gun rights rallies.

The irony of this is that the City is trying to comply with citizens’ concerns and conform to the Constitution’s requirement that public sector entities remain politically neutral, where the Gadsden flag has unfortunately been misappropriated by the TPM.

The city is a bunch of whiners. They claim to be just doing it because of citizens complaints that's just an excuse to act like nazis and order it taken down. The veterans will win this lawsuit and rightfully so.

This was the same city that thew a fit when it ran the Arkansas state flag up the pole but paid no attention when they painted the fucking empire state building red to honor the filthy, commie Chinese!
