Those who did not defect from the 79th brigade in the Donbas conflict with Russia-backed separatists are probably brave nationalists. They are fierce fighters.
Only the minority (see map below) ethnic Russians who support the Putin ass-kissing separatists have to fear reprisals. The ethnic Ukrainians speaking Russian in east Ukraine do not want to separate.
The ethnic Russians who want "independence" need only go back to Russia to get it.

I don´t think so. Russian forces in Afghanistan were not motivated. The Syrian forces Russia supports are very motivated and didn´t give up since 2011 while battling Islamist terrorists.Putin is going to end up with another failed war in the ME.

Hurt our side for a little bit until we air dropped two C-117 loads abd 50 tons of replacement ammo and whatever. They will need lots of anti tank rockets since they used so many up leaving dozens of destroyed Russian armor on the battlefield and having the rebels capture some as well. Hope those aren't Russians in those tanks, but it must be a bitch being an Iranian or Syrian being told to go to Russian tank school.
