I also think the taxpayers should pay for them. Sure, most people already have an id.. so it shouldnt be that hard to get one to the rest of the population.

How do you know someone isn’t mailing in fraudulent votes? How do you do voter ID for mail-in voting?

Given that there have been several investigations of voter fraud at the state level, with no evidence of even minor amounts of fraud, it doesn’t seem to be a Democrat issue.

And yes, voting is a civil rights issue, given that whites in the South instituted racist policies and instigated violence to prevent blacks from voting for a century.

We can change the way they vote as well.
