Now the fact that C-Span cannot be embedded here, I believe this is finally an issue.

Why? Why is it now, 2024, and we STILL cannot embed C-Cpan on this forum?

Is C-Span not a site that can be embedded on this software? Is that the issue?

I don't know anything about the techie side, but what is the issue here?

If you go to C-Span's YouTube channel. . . I looked for Trump's Montana rally. . nothing. It appears they quit regularly posting to their YouTube channel daily relevant content, a decade ago.

The only thing C-Span posts to their YouTube account, is very select important items.

For a political forum that discusses everything, we need everything. Forbes has a conservative bias, IMO, C-Span is less so.

From my stand point, we should have a back up that will cover all political events, that is just a documentation of all events, not just of conservative events.



There has been A LOT of discussion of this event. . . but it cannot be found anywhere on YouTube, Rumble, or any other embeddedable platform we have available to this political discussion site. . .

But here it is, so why can't we put it on this site?

I didn't know C-Span still existed. I'm not enough of a political junkie to spend a lot of time watching vids of rallies and speeches, since most of us can already cite all the bullet points; the parrots on all sides bombard all the sites with them 24/7.

It isn't USMB that is blocking C-Span's links, much less any other site. It's the way C-Span has their "sharing" buttons set up. '

The easiest way to share anything from another source outside of USMB is to copy and paste the address. If it's a paid site, meaning you have to pay to read content, that's a different story entirely.

Now embed it. We can't. This is my issue. I would like to SEE C-Span video on-site.

I knew it was there. I didn't know they had Kamala's rally. Forbes DIDN'T have Kamala's. I can embed Trump's rally no problem.

Right now, the only place on this site people can go to watch unedited original events, and post them here on this site, is Forbes, (or RSNB.) Lately Forbes has been, well, glitchy.

The easiest way to share anything from another source outside of USMB is to copy and paste the address. If it's a paid site, meaning you have to pay to read content, that's a different story entirely.

I sort of thought that might be the case.


I can't even find them as an app on my Roku or Playstation. And everyone and their brother can be viewed on these devices.
