I agree with the elder stateswoman Nancy Pelosi and what she said about the ACA.

We should do EXACTLY the same with the AHCA.

The Context Behind Nancy Pelosi’s Famous ‘We Have to Pass the Bill’ Quote

Read the link above ^^^ to understand the context in which this quote has been cherry picked, and echoed by biddable fools ad nausea:

From her 20-minute speech:

"“You’ve heard about the controversies within the bill, the process about the bill, one or the other. But I don’t know if you have heard that it is legislation for the future, not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America, where preventive care is not something that you have to pay a deductible for or out of pocket. Prevention, prevention, prevention — it’s about diet, not diabetes. It’s going to be very, very exciting.

“But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy. Furthermore, we believe that health care reform, again I said at the beginning of my remarks, that we sent the three pillars that the President’s economic stabilization and job creation initiatives were education and innovation — innovation begins in the classroom — clean energy and climate, addressing the climate issues in an innovative way to keep us number one and competitive in the world with the new technology, and the third, first among equals I may say, is health care, health insurance reform. Health insurance reform is about jobs. This legislation alone will create 4 million jobs, about 400,000 jobs very soon.

“We must have the courage, though, to get the job done. We have the ideas. We have the commitment. We have the dedication. We know the urgency. Now we have to have the courage to get the job done. So proud that President Obama is taking the message so forcefully to the American people! This is long overdue, a hundred years.

Really, what details do you have to prove your "Fact"?

Of course it's not your fact, you are echoing others who echo others - it's what the echo chamber does. You don't even qualify the echo, at least Fox News uses the preface, "some people are saying", when of course the "some people" are other talking heads on Fox News, or guest shills.

Here's some facts: The Republican effort to label the PPACA as SOCIALISM before the first person signed up, and their never ending promise to repeal and replace Obamacare. Only fools believed their rhetoric, and only fools believe this current effort to replace is for the benefit of The People.

If you mean we cannot know how much access to HC the GOP's bill provides, I think that's true. However, the CBO was fairly accurate in predicting the total number of newly insured under Obamacare, and I don't see any reason to think that won't also be true of the GOP's bill. But, Pelosi was right in that we couldn't know how well the thing would actually perform in getting people coverage until we tested it out. We know it's underfunded.

The gop claims it's bill will produce more actual healthcare at less than Obamacare's cost. I doubt that. I think it might be true with a total repeal and replace, but that is not going to happen. The problem remains that the insurance for a family of 4 (or so) making 50-80K is underfunded. And there remains a problem that workers who actually pay taxes face deductables, while workers and non-workers who don't pay taxes but receive Medicaid do not pay deductables, and thus have no incentative to only consume what they actually really really need, and then to use the most economical way (non-ER/preventative). The Gop bill does give states more freedom in using the reduced Medicaid dollars in possibly more efficient ways.

IMO the Republicans want to put the cost of health care onto the states, and claim this is an example of State's Rights.

In a post a while back I explained something I learned decades ago, as a young member of a LE Agency. Reading FBI and CII Rap sheets I notices a theme, states in the deep south would make an arrest, usually vagrancy, trespass, petty theft or other minor crimes, and the rap sheet listed a disposition as "floater" or "Floated". All were poor, usually black and were given a choice, the county jail, or a bus ticket to LA (California).

IMO the state of birth place should be responsible for the welfare of the person, no mater how or why or where they have moved. Let Texas, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Mexico, Central or South America, Europe, Asia and or the Artic, support those native sons and daughters.
