If I lived in Europe I wouldn't be fine with it. Pursuing protectionism out of irrational fear is a bad thing. Right now, the U.S. is also plagued by it.

It is a perfectly natural part of the cycle. This isn't the first time we have had protectionism and it won't be the last time either. Everything is cyclical. War is coming. It is only a matter of time.
