What has Trump actually accomplished?

Obama's been a great president. If he had been Republican, you guys would love him more than Reagan. Because Obama's accomplishments would be real.

This is exactly right.

If Trump or any Republican had this kind of sustained job growth, it would be a major talking point.

To hear Trump's dystopia vision of America, you'd think it was 2008 with 50 thousand jobs lost a month and 30% of homes in foreclosure. You'd think that merely going outside would lead to violent death.

The reality is that the Republican Machine has to lie about Obama, and they have to cover up the special interests they serve. They have to distract you with horror stories so you don't notice how they serve mega-mergers, anti-competitive monopolization and insanely inflated, no-bid weapons contracts.

For instance, the Republicans support the current plan for Anthem and Cigna to merge. This new mega-company could raise rates and decrease services without fear of losing consumers to a cheaper alternative, which wouldn't exist if the industry was allowed to consolidate. This is the trend we saw in the 80s when companies would buy each other so they didn't have to compete or innovate or lower their prices to gain and retain consumers.

The Right has their voters hermetically sealed in an information bubble where they are conditioned not to trust ANYTHING outside the bubble, including science.

The upshot is that Reagan could (and did) triple Carter's debt, but the republican voter never knew. Or, Obama could add more private sector jobs than Reagan and cut more federal jobs than Reagan, but the republican voter would never know. Or what about the fact that Bush 43 and the Republican Congress raised the debt ceiling 4 times? The republican voter didn't even know this happened. Bush's job growth was abysmal compared to Clinton and Reagan, but the republican voter doesn't have access to basic facts.

This is why we are in so much trouble.

Half the country thinks Saddam Hussein attacked us on 9/11. They've created their own fake world.

Well that included Hillary. Just so you know.

No, the Clintons were persuaded by the neocons in 1998 that regime change in Iraq was the best way to safeguard the world's energy resources.
but see in 2001, ole Hillary voted for the war. So she was one of your believers. doh!!!!

It's obvious that bothers you cause you failed to admit it. hahhaahhahahhhahahaaha

So did Pence, and now Trump says that doesn't matter.

Wa wa wa.

He's licensed his name to several products and more than a couple of buildings. Isn't that enough?

He inherited $40,000,000.00 to start off with. You can build quit a fortune over many decades starting with 40 million, even if you just let it collect interest.

He has accrued 3,500 lawsuits, many of which, he lost and had to pay big bucks, including one from his second wife.

He put 6 of his companies through bankruptcy.

He just had a bribery complaint filed against him.

he defeated 16 contenders for the job to run for president. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
All seven dwarfs, Dopey, Needy, Blinky, Smokie, Nasty, Creepy and Cynthia could have beat anyone in that group.

Trump demonstrated an ability to push the right buttons for the hysterical right wing. Other than Ben Carson, he was the least qualified in the group

Lots of people asked what Obama accomplished and he certainly had done anything of note but you people elected him anyway

Obama was immensely more politicaly experienced than Trump is. Beyond that, Obama worked is ass off to learn the issues, global politics and economics to be able to discuss them
Trump could not be bothered. He relies on gut instincts, silly one liners and smug cockiness

BHO was mostly elected because:

1 - he gave great pep rally speeches.

2 - he was a handsome kid.

3 - he had a beautiful family with 2 charming daughters and wife.

4 - McCain proved to be inept by giving a speech in which he claimed "the fundamentals of the economy are sound" just about 2 weeks before Lehman Brothers followed by all of Wall Street collapsed.

Therefore rather than vote for Dumbo McCain everyone went for the new guy instead.

It turned out to be a very lucky guess. The re-election proved that.

But then again the re-election happened for all the above reasons plus:

5 - Robber Baron Romney wanted more tax cuts for the rich, more oil drilling everywhere, while he himself was already only paying 14% tax on his own $20 million of annual income.

Sometimes you get lucky.

Hillary is lucky because compared with Trump she looks very (a) intelligent, (b) attractive, (c) friendly, (d) dignified, (e) diplomatic, (f) presidential.

Luck is luck.

So that didn't matter then, it's a non issue

These are his top 50 while in office:

Obama’s Top 50 Accomplishments

You want them before he became president. They are almost as robust.

You could learn how to use fucking google.

Besides, he's still president. Don't you have any idea how he saved the rubber and steal industries winning at the WTO? Taking Bin Laden down? How we now have 4.7% unemployment and 5.8 million unfilled jobs? The list is endless.

What does that have to do with running a country, he's proven his inexperience
