If Trump were to break economic ties to China, that would pretty much be committing economic suicide.

Besides..................doesn't he realize that China is where all the Iphones for Americans are made?

Not going to happen. Too much monies involved. If Xi doesn't do something in relation to North Korea the rich will have him 'killed.'

You know, China already considers Trump to be a paper tiger, so chances are they will simply ignore him. He's all bluster and no bite.

Wanna talk about his three carrier armada? How about him telling N. Korea that they would be met with force if there was a missile launched over any of our allies? He threatens a lot, but never does anything.

Baloney. Most of the expensive parts of the phone are made outside of China and shipped there for assembly.

China is terrified that he will do anything to their revenue stream from unbalance trade.

If they are so terrified of Trump's threats, then why are they continuing to trade with N. Korea?

Their big giant tech advances dry up overnight, too, since they rely entirely on stolen tech or tech corporations hand to them and they go overnight right back to stagnation and population problems.

Is there no deflection too stupid?

It's not a deflection.

If America is such a great place to make things, why does President Trump have his clothes made in Asia?
What does that have to do with the ability to make things here? Nothing that's what. It's just another regressive attempt to deflect and somehow bring Trump into another bullshit story by liberals.

their usual tactic is to see how much crap we will put up with, and when we start pushing back they back off. Been that way for decades. They know Obama was a traitor and hated America, but they're not sure about Trump yet. Their little proxy in NK has definitely made it necessary to rub out the little bug. With all the bankers and corps supporting Red China and labor racketeering over the U.S., it gets tricky.

You seem to be arguing that China is much more successful than America.

Wrong.

If you understood economics, you'd understand otherwise.
Because Americans can't make stuff.
Instead, I'm paying taxes for their Medicaid and utilities.

Wrong.

Any other logical fallacies you'd like to trot out?
Elaborate on what's wrong?
I know that all legislation is loaded with earmarks to tax me to support the under and unemployed.
And I am fully confident that uneducated Americans can so the same jobs that uneducated Chinese can do.

Because Toro makes his living off of China.

IMO, bureaucratic inertia and stupidity.

Trust you? No way. America, the country you hate, can make ANYTHING!

Of course America can make anything.

Just not at the price that at which you buy those things.
I'm glad you brought that up! It's another reason to remove so many job killing and cost increasing regulations, and as we all know Trump trying to do just that. But for some reason, regressive liberals want to keep restrictions in place that keep driving our manufacturing overseas. Why is that?

The problem isn't finding Americans to do the job, the problem is having a place for those Americans to go to work at, because lots of jobs that we USED to do here in the USA have been shipped for cheaper labor overseas.

Even if you have the workers to build the stuff, they still need a factory to do it in. In order to get the jobs to come back here, you would have to convince the various corporations that it would be to their advantage to do so, even if it isn't.

By the way, did you know that the ONLY jobs Apple has for American workers is in sales?

Big corps harassing little start up innovators via endless phoney patent infringement lawsuits by Intel and Microsoft, driving many overseas, mainly.
