No he really does not. the COVID emergency authority is over and people have a legal right to seek asylum. If the border bill being held up by the GOP were to pass, it accelerate processing/deporting illegals; it would set caps on how many could come in to 1400 per day.

Wrong. Stay in Mexico was unrelated to Covid and so was the construction efforts for the border wall. If you want to seek asylum, you go to either a US consulate or a port of entry. You don't sneak across the border and, when caught, scream "Asylum."
