What Is Your Favorite Fruit?

Plums become prunes when they are dried out. Like peaches the last few crops have not been good.

• Rose hips! (I used to grow my own)
• Mangos! Nothing beats a really, good, ripe mango!
• Black cherries!
• Blue Olives
• Honeydew melons!
• Papaya!
• Passion fruit!
• Red bell peppers
• Hot peppers

I remember those! Very fine grain to the mottling. Superb flavor. Haven't seen them in ages.

I love almost all summer fruit - apricots, nectarines, plums, cherries. Raspberries always.

But pomegranate I would probably pick as my favorite. PomWonderful is the BEST!

I thought fruit grows on trees and vegetables grow in or on the ground/vines.

But seriously...My favorite is the wild blueberries I gather every July.

No blueberries here except in the store, but I spend many hours every July/August picking huckleberries and I love 'em. I would give a lot for a fresh, juicy CA peach right out of the orchard as well.

Kiss Melons...oh my Lord, they are good! Everyone needs to try one! They look like cantaloupe, but marked KISS Melon....or Summer KISS. (Usually in a fishnet covering)
