If needed, then yes. Russia has Mach 27 Sarmat 2 hypersonic missiles that can be equiped with nuclear warheads. They are too fast and unpredictable for any current Defense systems of the West.

No they don't. There are no missiles in the world that can travel "Mach 27". Mach 27 takes a projectile all the way to not only orbit but beyond escape velocity.

The "Sarmat" is only a derivative of the SS-18 ICBM that the Soviets designed and built in the 1970s!!! More than 40 years ago.
