When considering socialism, ask yourself this question...

Socialist = Communist
Then remember the only good communist is a dead communist
As far as the Government is concerned the government should not be subsidizing anyone.
If you can't make it on your own, you need a better product.
Socialism is a wide-ranging ideology. It can be from something as innocuous as employee owned company, to full public ownership. Typically socialism refers to workers' self management. Usually today, when somebody mentions socialism, they are referring to market socialism, which is a self-regulated market system, while still retaining the workers' self-management and workers' self ownership.

Communism on the other hand is something totally different. It establishes a system without class, without a state, and without money, to the ends of indivisible ownership aka common ownership.

We’re taking care of farmers to the tune of a $12B gift courtesy of the blob on top of the billions in subsidies they already got. Sounds like socialism to me.
That's not socialism. It's stupid and irresponsible government spending of tax dollars, but it is not government exclusively holding the means of production.

Why aren’t the leaders of the socialist movement setting an example by sharing?

Why is Bernie Sanders filthy rich? Why are so many in Hollywood pushing socialism but holding onto their money? Why isn’t George Soros giving it away?

The reason is very simple. They intend to be the ruling class, the Party elite. They will keep their money, their luxury, and assure that no one else gets to join their ranks. Once this nation is stupid enough to become a socialist country, you and I will be in the working class. We will work every day to pay the elite to dole our hard earned money in order to “take care of us”. We will never be allowed to improve our lot, we will never be allowed to make a better life for our children. They will do the same as we are doing, working for the government run by the elites who don’t have to give their money and riches away.

You are an absolute fool if you think that it won’t be exactly that way.

Yep, Hugo Chavez stole 4 billion from the Venezuelans and nationalized everything, and now they are starving to death.
Left Wingers are dumb.

Can you translate that to English? That makes no sense. You people just keep spiraling deeper into hatred. You've now moved past coherent.

I oppose farm subsidies, but seriously? $12 billion? You flush trillions and that suddenly bothers you?

America's prosperous middle class is the goose that laid the golden egg.
Without the middle class there would not be any rich people and their would not be a tax base for the welfare system.
In Left Wing economics the middle class become the government slaves and Socialist leaders become their Slave Masters.

lol

No one is ‘considering’ socialism.

No one advocates for ‘socialism.’

If conservatives aren’t lying they’re attempting to contrive ‘issues’ where none exist.

Your side does. Your side supports Bernie and Ocasio-Cortez. That is your future if you keep supporting the far left, but you already knew that, lol. You know that if you ADMIT that is your plan, nobody but radicals will vote for your side-)

The ONLY difference between communism and socialism is about 2 weeks of anarchy. There is LITERALLY no other difference.

Reverend Jim Jones was the darling of the socialist movement based in California during the 70's. He is photographed with Jerry Brown and just about every other liberal politician at the time. The liberal establishment even awarded Rev. Jones the prestigious MLK award for his brilliant race based outreach program. Jones is even credited with using his political muscle to get at least one democrat elected mayor of San Francisco. Even though Jones showed signs of mental illness the liberal left supported his brand of socialism and the concept of the "people's paradise" in Guyana. How did that work out? Modern socialism usually turns out to be a extortion scheme for the very rich and a bad deal for the fools who support it.

Eh, you don't have a socialist movement in the exceptional homeland

Bernie is just a fake socialist, I didn't hear him calling for the nationalisation of the banking cartel or dismantling the MIC. And the way he just rolled over and played death when he had proof the psycho princess rigged the selections against him was simply disgusting

Hollywood promoting socialism? Really? Like George Cloony organizing a fundraiser party for Hillary?

And Soros is a corrupt neoliberal oligarch, pushing globalism and the NWO so capitalism can be great gain

So the answer to 'out-sourcing' every productive job and automating all the rest of them is supposed to be better than socialist policies for the unwashed masses out there? Fascinating, and of course the 'answer' is the rest of us should just work for less than the Red Chinese do or go off somewhere and die, cuz like, they;re supposed to according to some ideological rubbish?

lol lol lol yeah right; get ready for some Mad Max existentialism.

Because I created this thread, I consider it a responsibility to answer reasonable posts. You are saying that no one is pushing or advocating socialism. You have to be playing word games, explain your claim to us.

Hey, Bernie and Ocasio-Cortez belongs to the Left, not us-)

You notice that he won’t explain his babbling? He claims that NO ONE is promoting socialism and that conservatives are lying. I asked him nicely to explain it and he won’t.

Well, that would explain why. However, those are the people who are pushing socialism in the US. That's the kind we would have.
