How much capital intensive renovation can be accomplished in poor neighborhoods.The problem is....being poor does NOT mean one has to live in filth. And many don't. But you put poverty out there, people immediately think "nasty/dirty/filthy" just like when the word homeless is used...the same happens with filthy/mental/lazy/addict. That is not true either in most cases.
I’ll play along Danny....lack of renovation isn’t the problem in ghettos. The people of the ghettos are the problem...but you already know this.
For every one piece of trash removed there’s ten more pieces to pick up....for every act of vandalism repaired there’s ten more acts of vandalism....it’s a fight that can’t be won by local municipalities...they can’t run the pace with the filth.
