House Republicans Pass Deep Cuts in Food Stamps
The bill, written under the direction of the House majority leader, Eric Cantor, Republican of Virginia, would cut $40 billion from the food stamp program over the next 10 years.
It would also require adults between 18 and 50 without minor children to find a job
or to enroll in a work-training program in order to receive benefits.
In addition, the legislation would allow states to require food stamp recipients to be tested for drugs and to stop lottery winners from getting benefits. The Senate farm bill also contains a restriction on lottery winners.

OK let's look at the facts.
1) $40 billion cut over 10 years is $4 billion.
2) America has over 44 million people on Food Stamps.
3) That's $90 a year for each man, woman child that gets food stamps
4) Thats $7.50 a month
5) That's 25 cents per day.
AND the most dastardly distasteful CUT??
Any one between 18 and 50 years old WITHOUT children mind they MUST either
A) Find a job or B) must enroll in a work-training program to continue benefits!
HOW EGREGIOUS! Forcing people to be trained!
Forcing lottery winners NOT to be eligible!
FORCING people that spend other money on drugs to be tested before they get food stamps!
