Most are now either 'Neo-Conservative' Republicans or Communist/Progressive Democrats. And they're both Big Government Authoritarians. Classic Liberalism is pretty much non-existent nowadays.

It's a completely different game now. In my opinion, only the Libertarians are on the right track. Neocons and Communists/Progressives take you to the same place in the end. It's all about absolute Government control. They'll both lead you to Totalitarianism in the end.

Personally, i've chosen to align myself with Libertarians for the most part. They're all we have left as far as 'Classic Liberalism' goes. I can't in good conscience align myself with Neocons or Communists/Progressives. They're both oppressive Authoritarians. They believe in absolute Government domination of Citizens' lives.
