It’s one of life’s little ironies that the political party most often screaming about “democracy!” is also the party least likely to care what the majority of citizens actually vote for. Tuesday’s election sent a clear message: We don’t like what the Democrats have been doing. What did Democrats hear? Well, one senior Democratic aide told Politico, “As a party, we need to change. [Voters] like our policies. All this leftie [talk], the country likes, but somehow the message about us as individual members of the conference isn’t breaking through.” Yes, people love the policies of the past six years....

If you can eschew vulgarity and personal attacks for once, explain what the voters actually voted for.

Do voters really want abortions outlawed; voting made more difficult, tax cuts for the 1% and labor unions outlawed? Do they really believe women should be paid less for the same work as men, that children brought to the US by their parents are "illegal" and ought to be sent 'home' a place many have never been and many cannot speak the language?

Do most American's want every person to have a gun, carry said gun openly or concealed in the public domain? Do they really want one party rule and the elimination of the Code of Federal Regulations? Do they really want to defund efforts to create green and renewal sources of energy and allow state legislatures greater power than that held by the Congress and the POTUS?

There is only one Republican party just as there is only one Democratic party both parties have a far right and far left element but they are all part of the same party. You could just as the question which Democratic party lost the midterms?

Thank you for you opinion. Explain why the term RINO is tossed around freely and no one ever suggested the Blue Dogs were DINO. The modern D Party has always voted for its principles, and yet there is never uniformity of opinion, and why it has become common to describe the D Party as a herd of cats, all going in different direction yet seeking the same goal.

First I have heard the Blue Dogs called Dino as for why people use terms like RINO,DINO,Repukes, Repigs, Dimocrats, Dumbocrats I don't know nor do I really care they are irrelevant terms used by people who think using makes them important. Both parties have goals and agendas they want to push and both have people who have different views on how to accomplish it the deal is when this is from the party you disagree with you call it a civil war when it's in the party you agree with it's called a robust debate.

All we care is that the Democrat/Progressive/ COMMIE party was kicked out, now sit back and lick your wounds.

Not to mention, that party did the same exact same thing in the 1970's in order to for them to be in power.

Jake. What are you babbling on about. Rand Paul mobilized tea partiers. Hell's bells Paul not only mobilized tpers BUT he backed anyone and everyone that beat his personal favorite.

He threw himself entirely behind Tillis when Tillis took out his candidate.

Paul not only backed them. He put his money where his mouth was and gave huge sums from his super pac. Good grief Jake he came out swinging for McConnell.
