Which Republican Party won the midterms?

Those on the partisan right should read the article, as it is indeed correct:

'Welcome to the 114th Congress, in which the warfare within the GOP will only be amplified by the party’s new power. The pragmatic desire of mainstream Republicans to transcend their “party of no” label and show that they can actually govern will clash with the forces that continue to pull the GOP to the right and oppose anything the president does. This fight within the party will define the new Congress nearly as much as the battles with a Democratic president.

In the Senate, even candidates such as Iowa’s Joni Ernst and Arkansas’ Tom Cotton, who had the blessing of the GOP mainstream, embraced nearly every policy idea and conspiracy theory of the tea party wing. And you only need look at Sen. Marco Rubio’s repudiation of his own immigration reform bill to see where the party is headed.

McConnell’s hope for a return to the Senate of old will prove an illusion.'

You bet.....

The more the better.....

Kick liberal ass.......

All of those who have embraced the politics of extremism ought to read this link below. You are the people are parents warned us about, and my dad fought against in WWII.

Even if you're one of the many willfully ignorant, take a moment to read this article and think. It's written by adults for adults, so to those extremists who feel they know everything take the risk, cognitive dissonance isn't fatal and what doesn't kill you may make you smarter.

This should be pinned to all of WC's threads. He's constantly yearning for someone to discuss his radical propaganda pieces.

And you didn't realize your mistake? Would you bother asking Osama bin Laden to read an article about why it's good to play nice with the west?

It doesn't matter which Republican party won...

All we care is that the Democrat/Progressive/ COMMIE party was kicked out, now sit back and lick your wounds.

This is the party that won. The "Anybody but Obama" party. It will now be up to the true conservatives to work hard and press forward like adults, while making sure to provide regular spankings for the juvenile Cruzites.

The mainstream GOP is willing to work with those whites, minorities and women that crossed over to us as well as those who are sensible on the far right, of course.

We will follow and support John and Mitch in Congress, even if we don't agree with the entire program because we understand the Party's base is expanding left and center and right.

We work together.

McConnell’s hope for a return to the Senate of old will prove an illusion.'

That remains to be seen, but I do at least agree that it's a big "IF." If Boehner hasn't been entirely defeated by Tea Party pandering, he might have just enough of a spine left to get to work with McConnell and get some things done by relying on a bipartisan House coalition. Time will tell.

that's the problem with the people in the Democrat base. They let rags like the Washingtoncompost, Nyslimes and all the leftwing hate sites lead them by the nose and tell them things like the above. and then when they LOSE they just can't believe or stand it. so we get them acting like the poor sports, whiney children and just downright nasty losers that they are.

Sure the House and Senate are going to have problems between Conservatives and Establishment Republicans. Part of that comes from the platforms the candidates expressed when they were elected. The two Republicans running against Senator Landrieu here, both had "secure the border and fight amnesty", "stand up and oppose President Obama and Liberals in Congress" and "defend our second amendment rights" (among other issues individual to each candidate) as part of their platforms.

If Bill Cassidy gets elected ... He will go to Washington to represent the people of the state. That means those people will have told him what they wanted ... It doesn't make a difference what the Washington Post or the Liberals in Congress think about it.

Do these left wing losers have some frikken nerve. Asking which Republican party won?

they never complain about all the RADICALS/socialist/anarchist/communist that supports the Democrat party then ask which Republican party won.

just pathetic LOSERS when you win you're nasty and even more nasty when you LOSE YOUR POWER
