However, on the other side of the coin, I have seen blacks treated very badly in all white places. Matter of fact, in Meridian MS, there was a bar called Pott's Place, and when I tried to go there one night with a black friend of mine (and both of us were in full Navy uniforms), I was told I could get in, but the n===er had to stay out. I told him we were both military, and he said tough, it doesn't matter.

So, based on that experience, I would be willing to say it is tougher to be a black student in an all white school than it is to be a white student in an all black one.

The club was open to anyone in the school, and a white girl came on her own and did traditional poetry. These black rappers were completely accepting to her. They clapped when she recited her poetry just like they clapped for each other.They commented on it and discussed it just like they did with each other's work, and she was asked to comment on theirs. She wasn't one of their group, it was clear, just an ordinary girl who wrote poetry. They treated her with respect and value. I've been in long term relationships with black men whose families were welcoming and accepting while my family had a really difficult time doing the same. I've lived and worked in countries where as a white person I was a minority but never felt any racism or bias but felt accepted and welcome.

My life experience as a teacher and as an adult is that people of color are far more accepting of whites than the other way around.

How would Obama know the motive of the shooter in Dallas? He wasn't a black supremacist. There is no such thing. And wasn't that shooter killed?

1. The answer to the OP's question depends somewhat on the gender and the personality of the student.

a. A shy and timid student would encounter more troubles than an outgoing and assertive person.

2. All things considered, however, an African American or an Asian American or a Hispanic American student would get a better-quality education and have a more pleasant experience in a predominately Caucasian school than would an Asian American or a Caucasian or a Hispanic American student would in a predominately African American school.
