Maybe you watch too many Hollywood movies or something. Believe it or not, CEO's are not all rich guys who practice their putts on their office green while flirting with their large breasted secretary all day long. CEO is a tough climb which is why there are no CEO's here in USMB. It often requires a lot of traveling and moving from town to town. It's not something everybody wants to subject themselves or family to. CEO's move from job to job quite frequently. If you ever checked out Crane's Business magazine, you'd see that all the time. I don't even know if they're around anymore.

If you had a survey here, you'd find out that everybody's measure of success is different. Not everybody wants the same thing. So to assume that women are deliberately being kept out of being CEO's is nothing but paranoid speculation with zero evidence to backup your claim. It is ok that less than 5 % of CEOs are women. Whether it is insulting or not it is truth that women put their families before their careers and therefore far fewer women try to become CEOs.

They do not hit a glass ceiling they simply drop out of the race to the top in greater numbers. This is not merely true for the fictional glass ceiling it is also true for the fictional glass cellar. No one including feminazis complain that the dirtiest and most unpleasant but necessary jobs in our civilization are done overwhelmingly by men. Women have equal rights and no one is trying to take those rights away. In fact women have more rights than men which is fact and which rather destroys your premise.

Representative numbers such as CEOS is not a measurement of equality or equal rights. The fact is fewer women strive to become CEOS and there fore fewer CEOs will be women.

Men and women are different on many levels and this results in different choices which results in different outcome hence the fictional gender pay gap and the irrelevant stat you keep whining about.


We see this in other nations as well. Nations which are often considered even more egalitarian see the differences between men and women grow they do not see equal outcomes.

Good point. Maybe we can club those women on the head and drag them to CEO offices because it's likely many of them don't want to be CEO's for family reasons or otherwise.

Its not a secret it is overwhelmingly visible.

Many women start out as lethal competitors in any number of businesses. Then they hit their thirties and realize the rat race is simply not making them happy. Yes some want kids or a family some simply wish to stop the dog eat dog competition and enjoy life. Either way they drop out of the race in large numbers and pursue other things and as a result very few are left in the race and competition to the top.

Most of the female drivers only do so to be with their husband because they got lonely sitting at home two weeks at a time without their man. So they went on the road for companionship and not because of this haunting desire to handle a big rig. I don't know any females who ever said their dream was to drive a truck.

Yes truck driving is yet another of those occupations which proves the bias argument false.

There are many kinds or truck drivers and jobs for them but in general they make a good living but at a cost. Truck drivers generally tend to work terribly long hours on the road for long stretches at a time which is a huge sacrifice to make for the pay.

All one has to do is glance at the drivers on the interstate to realize the vast majority are men

Men are more willing than women are to make that sacrifice for the good pay

When left to their own devices to make choices without interference from others the differences between men and women will grow more apparent.
